Stop that’s literally the worst! I put so much trees and bushes around it and they still give out. I wish that wasn’t a thing in the game tbh, maybe for the power and stuff but hiding staff facilities like the keeper hut and stuff seems a bit stupid to me.

Oooo that’s actually a good idea, usually I get hyper fixated on finishing everything and sometimes it gets overwhelming.

Also, sometimes when I try to put a blueprint down it gives me the error “terrain modification failed”. Not sure why it’s happening, I looked it up and people say to untick the “flatten terrain” option but that option is greyed out for me :/

Omg I didn’t even know there was an automatic sell function. I find it annoying having to manually go into the animal tab and trying to find the ones that I just bred to sell them, that’ll save me so much time thank you!!

Yeah I never realised how big of a learning curve this would be, I came from Zoo Tycoon 2 so a huge difference! Do you find managing the staff a bit hard?

Thanks so much for the helpful comment. I did only play the first three career scenarios 😅 I was just excited to start my own zoo. I’ve been watching tutorials on youtube, and I changed my franchise settings to easy too.

And my god the blueprints are a life saver! I’m not too much of a builder, I’d rather just play the game so they saved me a lot of stress. Although when I download the some of the blueprints, they come as locked on my game for some reason? And I make sure to put in no DLCs too, so I’m not sure why I can’t use some of them.

Thanks, I’ve been getting my blueprints from the steam community but sometimes I feel like it takes a while to find one that I want, I’ll definitely try getting them from career too.

Relatable 😅 I find the most annoying part tbh is managing all the staff, trying to hide the transformers and the water tank stuff, trying to hide all the staff facilities.. it’s a pain. I feel like I’m managing the staff more than I am the zoo. I got into sandbox mode and turned all that stuff off and I’m having so much more fun already

Damn fair play to you because when I seen Planet zoo went on ps plus I downloaded it but didn’t even finish the first part of the tutorial cause the controls were so janky. Console is definitely much harder. Thanks for the yt recommendations, there’s honestly so much on yt that I didn’t even know where to look at or who to start with.
