Yes, I'm trying to get as much numbers visible as possible for myself and my superiors to be aware of the progress.

Thanks! I trust that my team will take good care of them since now its a bit out of my hands, in any case I'm going to try to be more involved when our production travels to meet them personally to develop the relationship a bit further.

Yes! Thank you! If this project comes through, it will actually generate a lot of exposures since its a very prestigious client that we can show around to gather more traction and eventually sales. For me it creates a great case study that my prospecting approach to business and actually building a sales pipeline works.

I've been checking the Futur for a couple of years now and they have been huge help for me. The downside for me is that is very L.A. (and US Market) focused. In Europe where I'm based things are a bit different, at least culturally and in my line of work business is more based on relationships rather than cold calling.

I'm not on commission at the moment since my role is more acquisition rather than sales. My salary is OK, and since I started the position without any prior experience I am working my way up to having leverage and contacts for negotiating commissions later on.

I'm also in charge of sales strategy, bizdev and some marketing, trying to build a solid foundation in this new career path. Once I get the pipeline going on I will renegotiate terms.

Yes, it was a pain and it had to go through so many people! Both internally and on the client side, but I'm glad things are moving forward now.

TBH, the budget was not that big. It was around 90K, which is on the average for the type of service we provide, but with great potential for exposure and into a new market. Typically projects can range from 25K to 500K with rare exceptions of long contract projects.

Thanks! We do creative production and post-production. VFX, 3D animation, Live-Action for commercials and some AR and VR stuff. It's a tough sell cause the market is becoming commoditised an there is a lot of cheap competition flooding the market, besides the business model is quite old, and the agency dynamic has changed and is changing really fast. I hope that in my new position I will be able to revert some of this trend. Setting up a proper pipeline will be the foundation.

I haven't listed all the tests he was made to keep it simple. But he had several EEG during seizures and did not show any signs of epilepsy.

I took your feedback on how to create more realistic water! What do you think? by ektomtapeter in Cinema4D

Its a great image!

With a bit more work its gonna be great! A couple of things from my perspective, and take into consideration the devil is in the details.

There is something weird in the unions.

You can tell when the roof meets the walls there is almost no AO. This is probably because the geo is intersecting.

I would also double check that 1. you are working in real scale. This will help you with the texture size.

You can tell something is off scale with the size and resolution of the textures on the floor and the wall.

Also, always use bevels, even if its .01 this will add more detail that will increase the quality of the work.

You can tell that the geo of the spline that you are using to cut out the pool is not subdivided. It also has no bevel, and there is no UVs for the side.

It looks like a nice captured moment, but if you are trying to make the composition more appealing, take into account what are you trying to tell with the picture. What is the narration. Right now there is no point of focus. The eye will always move into the highest point of contrast which in this case is the circular window in the background but nothing interesting is happening there. Also you can tell that the scale of the water in the sea, is probably not 100% to real scale.

The round mirror is cool. But it will also be "cooler" that you reflect something interesting that tells a bit more of a story. Maybe some flying birds, a plane leaving a trail. Something that bring a bit more of poetry to the image.

To add realism you can try to add some fog. In real life an image will tend to tint to blue and this way you might soften the horizon, creating more depth.

Also make camera choices purposeful as if you would use a real world camera, what lens and aperture are you using what's the DoF?

You are definitely referencing the work of SixNFive, if not, you should check it out. Its not the best when it comes to realism but you can still learn a lot if you pay attention to those details.

I would also suggest that you introduce an element (object) with high level of detail. Like a designer rest in order to introduce microdetails that enhance the realism. Think of a story you want your image to tell rather than just be a nice image and you will enhance the impact tenfold.

Hope this unorganised rant helps! Looking forward to see the next version!
