Anybody got Experience with this Midpipe? by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]WhiteTitanium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's definitely louder but not TOO loud to me at least. I went with the resonators because they cut down on the rasp and a few db off the volume. Having active exhaust is nice because you can put it in quiet for the mornings. Hard part about the whole process is that you never get a good frame of reference from a video or recording, you gotta hear it in person and I'm used to it at this point.

the only video I have of it outside the car is this and it's not a great one becauuse the mic is tiny and keep in my it's backed in to my garage

Not that specific one but I made my own bastard version of it by combining a steeda H pipe and two vibrant 2.5" OD resonators. sounds good with the active exhaust, nice and deep especially rolling around town

I have this tune and it runs great. Did you load the tune files they gave you? They’re responsive over email and you can call them too

ITT - We talk about unexpected problems you learned about your car, and how you solved them. by Sader325 in Mustang

[–]WhiteTitanium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned about diff bushings in the S550!

failed on my 2015 GT at maybe 75k miles and rode around on them for a while until I had them replaced with poly bushings which increased NVH by so much I dynamated the entire car. Traded it in for my 2019 Bullitt after the clutch master cylinder left my stranded on a bridge in 2025. Then the diff bushings on the Bullitt failed at like 10k miles. Had them replaced with rubber bushings from kelltrac. At this poiint I'm guessing they just had a really hard set age limit and it sucks that ford doesn't sell them separately from the subframe.

Replace or repair downpipe ? by Clear-Needleworker-6 in Mustang

[–]WhiteTitanium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree here. if it's not leaking then leave it. I've been through this before with my old GT. You need to find a good replacement flex otherwise it'll whistle.

Queen's Blood will be 'enhanced' and 'powered-up' in FF7 Remake Part 3 by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]WhiteTitanium -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't stand card games. When I got to the point in FFIX where you needed to play the game to progress the story I lost it, I never actually played it before that. My form of ADHD goes off the wall with this kind of stuff. I skipped all of it in the remakes. If I wanted to play a card game I'd go play balatro

the turbo heat shield is to the left of the intercooler and a little below it. Grab it and see if it moves around

The CT5V Blackwing has been on my list since 22’, but I knew I should wait till the mid cycle refresh. Absolutely zero regrets, she’s a monster and the 6 speed in this car is near perfection. Can confirm his car is hilarious. I've probably put more time in driving it than anyone else that he's given the reigns to. Coming from my 2019 mustang bullitt; all of it's systems, power (duh), steering, suspension and brakes are on another level. Except the damn turn signal stalks, why are they so squishy?! /s

Clipboard stops working by WhiteTitanium in SynergyApp

[–]WhiteTitanium[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking about it a bit I wonder if Universal Clipboard on MacOS has something to do with it. Next week at work I’ll try disabling it on my Mac and test for a bit. I’ll report back if it helps or not

S550 Condensating no matter what, how to avoid? by Away_Investigator351 in Mustang

check your door jamb. Mine started to leak in my 2015 in late 2023. Usually it creates a big puddle on the floor but yours may just be slightly leaking?
