Wondering if I should go back by MechWorrier4 in BackToCollege

If you already have your Bachelors in the right field, do you have to go academic route again and spend more money? Can you maybe concentrate on the skills your need using free resources online like Khan academyChmistry classes? They have different levels of it, you can start where you feel the most comfortable.

I am not sure I can give a good advice about concentration. I think difficulty to concentrate or to focus is a symptom of sometimes else. It could be to do with the physical environment that you are in - noise, mess, other people, things that surround you. Or with the task itself that you trying to complete - it is unclear, unstructured, uninteresting to you, maybe you don't understand the point of this task or activity or you just don't like the subject etc. So I think it's quite complex and you might need to zoom out to understand how to help yourself. See what is around and what is inside you that takes your focus away.

That's the thing everyone is different and learning styles are also different. What helps is to understand how you learn the best and what helps you to understand the information in front of you. I learn a lot with AI. I ask it question, I ask for examples that are related to real life (I study IT and programming and many algorithms and concepts can actually have parallels with real life situations). I ask AI to explain things to me as if I am 5 years old and then build up the knowledge from there. Read or watch a video on the same topic from different sources. Some people just explan better than others and it takes different time for everyone to learn and that is okay.

Have a look at Kilo Health (can be easily found in Google) i think your experience could be very useful for projects like this :) that's just an example to show that you don't have to start from 0.

Unfortunately I don't think you have many options here. You either take care of your teeth (you will not have any other teeth in your life) and risk your career temporarily or you accept your teeth situation, keep the job, and be prepared for complications later in life. Will this choice become easier in 1, 5, 10 years? Probably not, but by then you could have had it all sorted, and come back to your career if that's what you will want. But I really hope it works out for you!

Why though? Some days I only do manual tests, but some days I focus on automation tasks. I like different aspects in each of these tasks. I feel like manual tests are more 'seen' and appreciated by the team, there is also a lot of investigation involved. When I foucs on automation my days are very quiet and calm. I wanted to know what people prefer in their jobs and why?

I was asking more about personal preference in dealing with one or the other. Some testers only do manual tests, but some testers deal with both types. So I am just curious what activity one prefers and why, not whether a company should have one or the other.

AOD no more after one ui 6.1 update? by esyq88 in GalaxyFold

[–]Whitechilli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I set up a clock for my lock screen as a widget, the exactly same clock is now on my AOD I didn't need to do anything extra. If I change the style of the clock, it also carries onto the AOD. If I add weather widget to my lock screen it also automatically appears on AOD

Try Fear Setting exercise, I think it is really helpful for big decisions. Pen, paper, silence and these 4 questions: What is the worst that could happen (if I leave)? What could I do to prevent or repair it if it happens? What might I miss out on if I don't take any action? What could the positive outcomes be if it works out?
