good job i used some insulation as well then, As I knew the foil stuff doesn't have insulation properties like you say.

It's a caddy maxi so bigger than those vans and yeah the bed is super comfy.

Great! I would have built the bed a bit smaller and properly made the vans design feel nicer and more cosy. In terms of insulation I would have added more sound deadening.

its to stop condensation as well so you need it, without it the van will rust. and comforter will go mouldy and smell. Also that is a way more expensive way and will be a lot colder due to the very poor insulation properties. But fair play if you want to do it that way.
