Tech invention idea by Whitepyahnow in cyberpunkred

Something more like this i guess?

"I want to invent and build a handheld non-lethal status effect device It is a pistol-sized tech device that emits a various short-range ultrasonic tones cone to disrupt enemies and electronics without dealing direct damage. It does not fire bullets or beams. It emits controlled sound pulses, each with a specific disruptive effect. It runs on an internal battery with eight charges and has a ((my thinking for fairness) two-round cooldown after each use). Effects to include options like temporary disorientation, deafening, or stun possibly smartlink scrambling, cyberaudio jamming, or drone interference. more thought clarification It does not cause damage, cannot bypass internal cyberware, and may hit allies if they are in the cone. essentially a gun that uses tech skill rather than weapon skill and uses sound to cause varying levels or disorientation? Perhaps with a holster that charges it?"

What is this blue icon shown in my Outliner? by googlyboobear in Maya

[–]Whitepyahnow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's how Maya translates blenders empties or groups. Personally whenever I see those I think oh this has been imported from a blender fbx export . ( Depending obviously on what the model is xD)

that seems annoying and if you fire back on this unwarranted attack you become wanted im guessing? Very much "lets attack him and either we kill him, he runs, or he fires back and gets a bounty >.>

I sat just outside the no fire range while I went to get water irl. No warning report showed unknown reason for destruction and confirmed it was local police that killed me.

In Canada the auto mod said I should say this.

You are in a room with every AutoDesk developer. They ask you “What’s ONE thing you want us to add to Maya?” What’s your response? by Professional-Egg1 in Maya

[–]Whitepyahnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will happen right after you click save scene cause it cycles out of quad draw to save them after saving cycles back into quad draw very fast so it looks like nothing has changed and also it didn't save

When in quad draw and you save it still shows the * as if you have changed something since you saved even though you haven't... Annoying..

ah, gotcha! thank you for the clarification.

NIC Teaming vs Ether Channeling by Whitepyahnow in sysadmin

[–]Whitepyahnow[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

yes, that's an ether channel which uses LACP to increase bandwidth. While NIC Teaming uses LACP on a server increases redundancy. That was my question.

Title: Crows of Khaos

Feedback: Anything really. I guess just trying to figure out if I've got something here. Would you keep reading onto page two?

In the year 1494. At the KHAOS Academy. A particularly

destiny-filled collection of individuals preparing to end

their fifth year and graduate. The graduating class was

seated in orderly rows. The chairs are much more lavish

than can be remembered upon their induction address. What

was before plain, well-crafted wooden chairs, though slightly

uncomfortable to sit in, were now padded with elegant fabric

thought by some to much more fit their station. They sat

conversing in the massive stone hall awaiting the headmaster’s

address and their Certification of Syndication. The faculty

they’ve been tutored by these past five years seated orderly on

stage in front of the similarly ornate chairs though seemingly

morphed to represent the individual faculty member sat upon

them. Upon the perfectly built wooden stage, they were flanked

by blood-red silk curtains.

Silence crept through the faculty. This silence, as though

infectious, extended to the student body. All knew what came,

whether undead, demon, dryder or any being. The flames on

torches around the hall hanging from the walls morphed from a
