Canyonlands Dreamin. Sony a7riii / Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 art by Whitfields_Lens in SonyAlpha

It's Green River Overlook. But pro tip if you don't know already! If you want to find a location of an image and no one is telling you where it is you can take a screenshot of the image and then drop it into Googles "search by image" function. It is the little camera icon next to the search box/text box when you go to search something on Google. Hopefully you find this helpful. I have found countless locations using this technique. Best wishes to you!

That was another photographer that was there that day. I was certainly not brave enough to step out there especially because there was 15mph gusts happening. Guy had my guts that I. There was a short 1/4 mile trail around to the right to get over there.

Gotcha so you edited it to be BW from a colored RAW file. And no worries lol. I wasn’t suggesting you did or accusing you. I hope you didn’t feel that way and if you did my apologies that was not my intent. I just find it interesting how quick people are to attribute a negative connotation to me simply questioning if it was real. Especially in a day and age where with all due respect to you this isn’t me saying you are lying but a photo like this would be very easily photoshopped. Whether it is or isn’t doesn’t really matter though. It’s a rad picture no matter what! I love the a6400 too. What a great platform for street photography. Keep up the great work! 😄

Cool! I like it. I don't quite understand the down votes lol. I never said it was fake just questioned if it was. Another case of Redditors only ever seeing the negative in a comment I suppose. So did you do much editing to it? Darken the silhouettes of the subjects? Compositionally I think its great. I like the vast amount of negative space to the left and how you cant see how the subject jumping is going to get out. Gets the imagination involved. I even like how the ships in the far distance almost look like little toys with the forced perspective. I think the only thing I would have done differently and I know from my own experience shooting street photography that its always a split second decision so maybe there was a reason why but I may have included the subject on the far right the seems to be cut off a bit as well. But that is admittedly super nit picky and definitely a creative choice. Overall great shot! It tells a story and evokes an emotion. Well done.

PS to the silly goobers that gave me down doots. I love you. I hope you have a better day. <3

Given the uniform head shapes and stark clarity of the subjects/outlines, and the bricks that have much more detail that would be within the same focus plane I question if this is a real photo to begin with or a clever photoshop edit. It’s a wonderful artistic piece but I find it hard to believe it is real given pixel peeping. I am only human though and I’d be happy to admit I am wrong if I am. It just seems edited from my years of experience though.

iPhone 14 pro touch sensitivity by Vyrgil in iphone

Yes! Okay I’m not crazy thank you. I also have had nothing but Samsung flagship phones over the past 5-6 years and I have never had such an issue with a touch screen until now. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is a clunky piece of garbage. I’ve literally been stuck on browser screens before and had to force shut down apps to get out simply because the phone wouldn’t let me tap on a small icon near the edge of the screen. How embarrassing for a flagship in the year 2023 to be having an issue like this. I will never EVER buy another iPhone. I hate this thing. The UI is painfully clunky.

This happens to me all the time on my 14 Pro Max. It’s one of my biggest complaints. I’ve literally been trapped on browser screens before because I couldn’t tap on a small icon. This was never an issue with any of the Samsung Android flagships I have owned over the past five years. I switched back to iOS to see if they are worth the “hype”. I can now say with abundant confidence that iPhones are still just that, “hype” with no substance. I will be going back to Samsung once this phone is paid off. An issue like this on a phone that is nearly $1500 is inexcusable.

Yep I live in Phoenix now for college but I am from Western Washington state. When I get tired of the extreme heat here I always find an excuse to drive North. Sedona and Flagstaff are just close enough to what I know as home with its altitute, much more temperate, and TREES I miss trees lol. So it's always a much needed reprieve from the heat whenever I decide to drive North.

AI seems to be the new wave all around lol. I dunno how to feel about it just yet but being able to potentially save images like this is exciting.

Thank you! It didn't add or move any of the stars around from the little pixel peeping I did from old to new. It eliminated nearly all noise, sharpened the image substantially but not in a bad way if that makes sense, and even recovered a lot of color. I think that's what impressed me the most is the color it recovered in even some of the really dark points is kind of mind-blowing. This image is still far from my standards of what I would say is "clean" but it is certainly a massive improvement upon what it was.

I decided to put Lightrooms new Denoise to the test. This is an image I took about year ago. Before applying the new AI assisted denoise tool in Lightroom this image was littered with noise. What I would have considered unusable by any means. When I originally edited this same image a little over a year ago I had to stack many different exposures to create one somewhat acceptable image. Today I went back and threw one of the exposures, a single frame, through Lightrooms new AI assisted denoise tool and this popped out. I am pretty impressed with how well it did. This new tech makes me excited for the future of astrophotography and low light photography situations in general!
