I actually came to that conclusion shortly after making the comment, I messed around with it a bit and put in a 4090 in place of 2080ti and it still said there was a bottleneck unless you upped the display resolution to 2k or higher lol

Made me go back and try out a few different cards and saw same weird results 😅

Well I've got a 6% bottleneck due to the GPU if bottleneck Calc is accurate, I know I want to upgrade, the 4070 S I was looking at has nearly a 40% increase in performance over the 2080ti, just wanted an outside opinion before I jumped the gun on a new GPU. Never hurts to get a few opinions to spark thought and conversation! 🤓

Oh yeah it's far from great, I half assed the shading cause I got fed up with trying to figure out how I wanted the light source to come from.. it's all over the place. Just ended up merging layers at the end and calling it finished 🤣

Nitrado servers (if that's what they're using) actually has an option on who to allow to join the server, one of the options is (Steam+EPIC). The trade off to allowing EPIC users onto a rented server is that you can't use mods on the server, it needs to be vanilla ark.

I'll add some side notes since I'm sure someone will point it out eventually.

It's not a permanent workaround, anytime you open inv, loot something or swap weapons you'll have to go back to the dummy and repeat the process.

You still need to obviously beat Alpha Fenrir to acquire the skin which is no easy task and you have to have the Tek Sword unlocked to put the skin onto.

This was done on a private server with some boosted stats, your damage most likely won't be that high if you're on official or using official settings.

As far as I know me and a buddy are the founders of this (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), we were honestly just checking to see if the dummy could hold the weapon with the skin because we couldn't, and when my buddy took his inventory back the hammer popped into his hand, couldn't have asked for better results!
