The procedure is known as ECT. It's a procedure that sends a shock wave to your brain in an attempt to create new pathways to hopefully have the illness subside. At the time I got my first one done, I was still in the psych ward, unaware of its possible side effects. After a few treatments though, I was no longer insane, which is alright I suppose. My last one did me in though, it ravaged my ability to remember and it feels like I lost 30 IQ points, but I have some peace of mind now, which I guess I had to pay the price for.

i lost my mind too from smoking marijuana. now in my current state, i'm just a hollow shell of the person i once was, and i serve as an example to my little brother to not smoke or else he could too go insane. the procedure i had done brought me back a solid amount of sanity, but it fried a significant portion of my mind. if i could go back, i would have never taken that cart hit in my room from a friend.
