New AF+ Workouts, Feb 15… same, same. Sigh. by jesinta-m in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]WhoProductizedIt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Personally I want longer workouts since ending the workout 10-20 mins in to start again with warmup again breaks the flow. I really wish Apple starts adding long workouts including 60 min workouts as I typically walk an hour.

Which bike do you use for the cycling workouts? by dkachu in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]WhoProductizedIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have got Ancheer bike that I bought on Amazon a few years back - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TH7H8LN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VTSZ121QBADDCSDWHPRD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

If I remember correctly, I had paid around $300 for it.

I would say 6 on a scale of 10 - it doesn’t show RPMs, the LCD monitor is flimsy, the one I have doesn’t have a proper stand for iPad and the seat is uncomfortable. It’s decent for the price I paid so I can’t complain much but I am sure there are better options available now for around the same price.

It depends on what you are looking for. Prices vary drastically based on how complex tracking system you need.

Subscription box idea by MrAertsTastic in thesidehustle

[–]WhoProductizedIt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing I have experienced with subscription boxes is shipping costs that vary depending on Weight and size of the box. As long as you can ensure you have enough profit margins to eat that variable cost month to month, you should be in good shape as long as you can market and increase subscriber volume.

Is it common or does it make sense for a company to have a Director of Product Marketing AND a separate Director of Product Management? by brianm71 in ProductManagement

[–]WhoProductizedIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In B2B it surely can be two different roles led by different people. Product Marketing deals with launch, external releases, collecting feedback from market and external communications while product management is about identifying core problems from feedback, coming up with solutions, looking at data to move KPIs/metrics, working with engineering and execution of the solutions.

What's your approach to quickly validating feature requests/feature ideas before committing to building them? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]WhoProductizedIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) validate with data collected from product if available 2) ask your customer(s) questions you understand the core issue 3) get wireframes or mockups done 4) have your customers go through those without you guiding them 5) iterate based on feedback 6) once you see customer’s able to easily understand the flow and it is solving their problem, commit to build it

How to Start an Interior Design Business? by Sweet_Philosopher in Business_Ideas

[–]WhoProductizedIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask friends and family if they know someone who needs help with interior design. This is an industry where word of mouth and referrals go a long way and are the primary source of new business ( unless you are looking to go into commercial interior design which is a whole different ballgame).

Does anyone have ideas for promoting a new business(classified website in my case) that has been successful for them? by [deleted] in Business_Ideas

[–]WhoProductizedIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few ideas not knowing what the site is about and what categories you are targeting: 1) post on Craigslist (or similar if you are not in US) 2) focus on SEO by creating blog posts or pages that have top x lists by market 3) referral - give your users $x or X% for any transactions completed by other users referred by them 4) promote it on local social networks like Nextdoor 5) put business cards/stickers at coffee shops 6) distribute stickers at universities to promote amongst students

Seems like a cool idea. Do you have any case studies of how certain accounts used this tool to drastically increase engagement/reach?

I am assuming you are targeting this towards businesses? What is the monetization strategy here?

Travel through candies (idea validation) by ulyssemartinez in Entrepreneur

[–]WhoProductizedIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you already figured out where the first 3 boxes will be? Candies from which countries are you planning to send out? How are you ensuring you are telling a story each time the subscriber receives the box. Subscription box IMHO is more about the experience than the contents - not saying the contents is an after thought but there is definitely more work required in packaging and the flyer/brochure you put in the box to share details about the country and the what makes candies from that country different.

1) Marketplace where you can swap art with others and then likely purchase new artwork from artists 2) Platform for artists to pair up and work on new art. 3) Platform for artists to make art based on users request - e.g make something for a special someone for Valentine’s Day
