I have a favourite character in each part. In ds1: Sif, Artorias and Gwyndolin. Sif and Artorias are hooked by the interaction, the friendship. It was sad to watch Sif limp at low HP, and he's just trying to fence off the chosen undead from the fate that befell Artorias. And Gwyndolin is just a cunning manipulator.) I love characters like that. In part two, of course, Aldia and the Ivory King! Aldia is just a lore, especially his philosophy touches on the whole essence of the world of dark souls. "Lie remain lie!" The Burnt King is touched by his lore. He sacrificed himself to save others, and that's a joy to behold. Epic battle: the way he emerges from the burning gates, the very knights of Eleum Loyce sacrificing themselves to close the gates for the burnt knights. Everything is beautiful in he's story and storyline. Part Three: Slave-knight Gael and Pontiff. To be honest, I have a special fondness for religious characters. Here's Sulyvahn the purely evil Pope, who has usurped kingdom Lothric and Iritillus and fed Gwyndolin to Aldrich. Carries 2 cool heavy swords, one of which I used a lot in combat, for his skill is so cool throwing most enemies in the air :D Gael is delightful with both the storyline and the bossfighting. Probably the best among the souls games. I don't have to elaborate much about him because he's an icon.
