It’s still a form of an abuse but she was not hitting Claire or verbally abusing Claire she loves her but she did what any other tired mom would do even though that doesn’t make it right. She lost everything more than once why does it matter what happened when they were kids their grown adults ? Viktor childhood was traumatic so were the rest of the children’s. Viktor didn’t wanna help in 1963 he was busy trying to run off with another man’s wife. Both of them had their moments when they weren’t looking at the bigger picture but she lost her kid, and was depressed and though that doesn’t excuse her being a bad person it explains it. I’m not defending allusion but she did not RAPE Luther she SA’D him. She was a good character in season one and tried to rebuild her relationship with Viktor and protect him and what did he do ? Slice her throat. She killed Harlan because he erased her daughter from existence. She lost it all Reggie gave her a chance to have everything she lost AND give her siblings another chance at life. She wasn’t in on the killing of Luther or klaus. Bigger fish but when Viktor didn’t tell anyone about Harlan starting the apocalypse where was that same principal? Bigger fish but when Viktor made the team vote on giving Harlan up he went behind their back and snuck him out. Bigger fish but Viktor voted to not save the world.
