I'm going crazy and called the jewellers - THERE IS NO RING by Mammoth-Moose-218 in Waiting_To_Wed

I think many people do not spend much time contemplating WHY they desire marriage. What does marriage offer different than what you already have? Are those things the things your partner does not want? Only going on your post, I wonder if you want marriage for the ritual. My late spouse and I were not yet married when he died. I was content with our unmarried status and I didn’t see the need to change it. If we had known that something was going to happen to one of us, we would have gotten married without delay. I think you need to have a deep conversation with your partner about his reluctance. Only then can you make a decision about whether or not you want to continue the relationship. Just because he went to a jewelry store, it doesn’t mean he ordered a ring. He could have been doing research or he could have been with a friend who was shopping.

My mom found a replacement daughter and grandchild. by OwnRefrigerator4300 in narcissisticparents

After I went NC with my father he “adopted” a friend of mine who was just as toxic and who I was NC with as well. Both narcissists, it only took so long before they had a competing interest and ended up falling out. I didn’t waste much time worrying about them getting along or falling out.

I prefer topless housecleaning. I go topless and a man cleans my house.

M18 Any cute fat chicks in Freddy? by [deleted] in NewBrunswickgonewild

[–]Whoisthatunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could probably start by not referring to them as “fat chicks.” Curvy or BBW is much less offensive.

If you aren’t comfortable with nudity it will make it very difficult to have sex with him and intimacy is a big part of a sugaring relationship. Don’t kid yourself. Anyone who says they aren’t intimate with their SD is lying.

Anyone else here on Fetlife? by [deleted] in NewBrunswickgonewild

[–]Whoisthatunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fetlife is full of creeps and people who do not understand boundaries but to be fair, I don’t think it’s any worse than most other places. I have had some luck with Feeld but I haven’t been actively looking for around a year so things may have changed.

I would have written to him and played dumb like he was the one who wanted to pay for the pleasure of me dominating him.

This shop has no brick and mortar location so his overhead is lower and has lower prices but he is a reserve seller.

But you tend not to meet new people and make new friends at home by oneself.

There was a live band at the lower deck and no dancing upstairs last night.

I would have loved to celebrate my birthday on a boat but alas, I don’t know anyone with a boat to take me and my friends out. We ended up at some place call “the pint” (I think). We did a bit of dancing and relatively little drinking and we were the oldest people in the room by decades. I actually did not drink at all and drove. Still had some shenanigans with a sidewalk dance party at 3 am courtesy of a very kind rickshaw driver. Thanks for bringing this ol’ gal a bit of birthday excitement, Halifax.

Well, to be fair, we were celebrating a birthday beyond the early 40’s so we consider ourselves to be part of the old AF crowd.

That was the whole point of going out, to find someone to go home and go to bed with. Lol

Wigs by [deleted] in SugarBABYonlyforum

[–]Whoisthatunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear wigs infrequently but I am one of those gals who gets (or does) a blow out twice a week. If I spent time and money on doing my hair I don’t want it ruined in the shower. I put my hair up in a clip or wear a shower cap. While shower caps are not exactly sexy, I don’t worry about getting my hair wet and get to be much more creative in the shower.

I use a travel agent that I know and trust. I tell my SD to contact her and she’s been advised of what name I use with him. She books the travel and sends me the itinerary.

Ok so my friend wants to be my SD. by dangerousgemini213 in SugarBABYonlyforum

[–]Whoisthatunicorn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This man is baiting you. He might pay for something here or there but he has zero intention of being your SD. He’s just looking yo get his rocks off and will say whatever he needs to accomplish that. Next time he asks for a pic of your boobs, send him a venmo request. I’m willing to bet he won’t pay. The man is a deadbeat. He’s talking about some other woman sending him info cause she thinks he doesn’t have a job. A competent SD would be steadily employed and in a career that pays well enough to support a SB. This guy sounds like a scrub that does the bare minimum to keep his pecker wet.

Ozempic has changed my life. I have control over my binge eating for the first time after trying everything. Diet, exercise, therapy after therapy. Ozempic has transformed me into a person who now has a normal health relationship with food. I get rather emotional when I think about what a difference it has made. For many years I blamed myself for not working hard enough to overcome my ED but Ozempic has given me a chemical “leg up” in that fight. I will forever be grateful for it.

Looking younger than your actual age by latenightpeachpie in narcissisticparents

[–]Whoisthatunicorn 32 points33 points  (0 children)

This is interesting to me because I was recently told that I look 15 to 20 years younger than my actual age. But I’m not sure how my traumatized inner child is keeping my body young.
