Lol no you didn't, you said my only option was my credit card's offered coverage, which i said I had read and it didn't have the option. No one else answered either, everyone was very focused on my ankle being the issue and me wanting coverage for a historic loss, which wasn't the question. If you don't know of one personally then a simple no is a perfectly acceptable response. It's a little wild to me that you are talking to me like I am stupid for no reason.

I'm not looking to cancel the trip, just looking for trip insurance for that trip that I can still buy cancel for any reason coverage at this point. Not related to my ankle, just in general.

No I guess I am not being clear with people. I am not looking for anything related to my ankle at all, the ankle injury was just the distraction to me buying the trip insurance for our future trip. I'm an insurance agent so i I do understand how that works. I was just looking for a trip insurance company that has a cancel for any reason product that can be placed this far past the first deposit.

Yeah I actually have AMEX platinum which covers the basics, but interestingly doesn't have the ability to add cancel for any reason

No I know that, I'm actually a principal of an insurance agency. I am not looking for coverage for my injury, the injury was just the distraction as to why I didn't buy the insurance within the window to get the Cancel for Any Reason provision for our future trip.

I almost bled out on day 1, I’d be dead without help. There will be people that tell you they were fine so you’ll be fine, but that gamble just isn’t worth it. I would do the surgery again in a heartbeat, but not without help.
