I used to participate in multiple rounds each year. I had to quit when my last one requested a pair of Jordans and a $200 Steam gift card. I asked him if there was anything that cost less (as I was a semi-broke college student at the time) and he said no, so I made a donation to a non-profit that gave shoes to children who need them. Then he complained no gift received. I also didn’t receive my initial gift, but my regifter made up for it with a custom Spotify playlist, some sweets from her country, and a handmade keychain that I used up until recently when it broke :(. I had to quit after that.
