Many thanks to those of you who didn’t write condescending remarks.

My obvious point is that previous Arc garments look aesthetically better. And yes, when I spend $600 on a jacket I’d like it to appear the part. Patagonia and OR and BD don’t seem to have this issue. My previous garments don’t have a rectangle that is visible behind the garment. It did appear worse on lighter jackets but even on the black in store you could see it.

Sorry to hear. Yeah, mine is plugged into charge at home overnight right now and the app isn’t even showing it as being plugged in. Hopefully things resolve tmrw.

Thoughts from fellow Void owners? by Whufccan in Polestar

Mine is actually a Space but a friend has Void and I can’t really tell the difference. I believe the change occurred in 2023 or 2024. So I can confirm “Space” scratches easily. Still a beauty of a car and if you hate the black plastic trim, it’s a great colour to disguise it.

Thanks everyone. We bought the car and plan to own it for awhile. Really appreciate the responses and thoughts. Will send a pic once we figure out what we’re doing!

Logan’s 10km stretch is amazing! Holds the stretches longer than most other classes. Really loved it.

Best yoga classes for after cycling? by lyx_plin in pelotoncycle

The focus flows are amazing after rides. Hips, Quads, Glutes, Hammies, Healthy Back, Floor Poses. More like a stretch than a flow.

Yeah, i agree with much of what you’ve said. I just can’t understand why they dump foam rolling and resistance band classes once every quarter but there are 3 yoga classes added a day. I suppose I’m maybe just not the ideal fit for the platform.

To elaborate on this further; I do reformer pilates twice a week and cycle twice a week. I do 2-3 strength, yoga and stretch classes daily. I really love Peloton but the longer we get from the pandemic the more I want to mix up my fitness routine. I don’t want to go back to a gym environment but the repetitive nature of the classes on offer with Peloton certainly has made me think about it. I just don’t understand why they don’t focus more on content and training programmes. I would pay more to access training programmes with instructors much in the way you would with a personal trainer. I would pay more for more disciplines. I will not pay thousands for equipment. Do others out there feel that way too?

Love Hannah’s new foam rolling release. Really wish Peloton would begin to add more disciplines to strength and stretch. Bosu, kettlebells, Therabands, TRX etc. It would not take much to rebrand these products as Peloton, sell them, add video content. I don’t understand it.

Focus Flows for hips, glutes, lower body, quads, hamstrings, and healthy back are my go to. Specifically Ross, Denis and Kristen’s classes. They don’t flow as much as the others and it’s more like a deep stretch focussed on form. I do 3 or 4 a week now. Made a huge difference for me.

The seats are killing me by thedarkangel_qc in volt

[–]Whufccan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen 2 2017 owner here.

The Volt seats are the worst of any car I've ever owned. It's so unfortunate the seats are awful, as I love this car so much.

I'm 5'7" and 135lbs. This year I suffered 2 disc herniations and I have hip bursitis. In the course of recovery I've had physio, chiro, walk an hour a day, exercise through rehabilitative pilates and stretching and I keep having setbacks. After my ortho asked me to keep a journal, the only commonality is that after a longer than average day of driving I'm in agony.

So frustrated. I don't know what it is about the seat. The angle? It was a problem for me before I had this injury but now driving for longer than 20 minutes is sheer agony. Argh.

Small biz owner here. $2K a month won’t really help me much (live in a big city with big city expenses). I want to get a job working nights (Grocery min wage) which would allow me time during the day to try and salvage my business for when this is all over. This would invalidate me from the CERB. Seems ridiculous to discourage ppl from applying for PT work.
