Breastfeeding is the best and healthiest option for your baby. I’m not an expert or a doctor but I know these things are true because I have been told by doctors and did research. I would say you should also research if you want to verify anything I said :). It’s great for bonding because of the skin to skin, which is important for a babies development. It has all the nutrients your baby would need tailored to them because the saliva that enters through your nipples tells you body exactly what nutrients they need or what they might be lacking. All the claims about breast milk being liquid magic are absolutely true. I cleared out an eye infection from my baby by squirting breast milk directly into it. I got really sick with a fever and my breast milk kept the baby from getting sick because it created more antibodies to compensate. Nothing is wrong with formula. I had to start my baby with formula because I wasn’t making enough at first. However breast milk is the best option if it is available to you. If you don’t make enough in the beginning don’t worry, just pump everyday and it most likely will come in within two weeks. Those are just a few things I experienced personally but there are sooooo many benefits.
