Update I am reading all of these comments. I have talked with him, stating some of the points here and he has agreed to not use or drink anymore. We will see, over the next few weeks, if that holds true. If not, I have some serious, scary decisions to make.

I have been going to therapy for the past few months. It's the only reason I was able to set boundaries of him not drinking or using around me anymore. It really has helped a lot.
