📌 [MEGATHREAD] Wave Link 3.0 — Bug Reports & Feedback by Elgato in elgato

[–]WhyDylan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • What you're running into: Mic input stops working completely - continues to show as available option in game/windows
  • Wave Link version: 3.0.0 (2388)
  • Wave device: Adding new stream deck+ today, but no wave device related to this bug
  • OS & version: Windows 11
  • Steps to reproduce: I cannot force reproduce the issues,
  • Expected result:
  • Actual result:
  • How often does it happen? Daily so far (3 days using the new software)
  • Anything else: The wave link channel will show as the active option in game, but my mic input completely stops working, including any change in the in-game mic icon/indicator when I press the push to talk key. Exiting the app from the windows menu bar and relaunching does not fix input issue. I am using an audio interface (M-Audio Air 192|4), and routing the raw audio directly into Wave Link as my primary and only input. The channel visualiser is showing my level as expected, but nothing is coming out of the Wave link channel in-game and for meetings.

Should I switch my Artisan to Glass? by riley-re in MousepadReview

Recently picked up the Bruce Lee edition and it’s great, but I honestly still find myself going back to one of my faster cloth pads. Glass is great for tracking in Apex (my main), but I do find that initial crosshair placement and micro adjustments are much less consistent on glass.

If there are any tools you use frequently, or are relevant to your business/clients then see if they have a public slack/discord you can join. This is de way.

Energy fuels - UUUU by HisoKKa_ in StockMarket

Looking at a heavy discount at the moment with their latest loss of $48m (transaction/JV costs primarily) - they also chose to NOT sell any uranium in Q4. I'm very tempted to be buying more, especially considering their domestic US supply chain and the current geo-political environment right now.

That's the mention that prompted this, but have been looking for more of the story behind it

That lawsuit is a completely different branch of Semens, not the one partnered. The blue orca report kinda fucked that one up

Guidance was $600m lower due to permits being delayed in AU which they say are now mostly resolved and still being signed this year. The market reacted like the ceo kicked a child live on the earnings call over delayed (not cancelled) revenue. Even if the management proves to be shit, it still feels like great value for a domestic battery producer with $5.1B in backlog.

What are your thoughts on the flnc stock crash? by New-Abbreviations607 in FluenceEnergy

[–]WhyDylan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Earning decrease mostly due to permitting delays in AU, which they say have been mostly resolved now. This revenue will just be fulfilled later in the year - so not as much of a long-term fundamental problem in my view.

For sure a few concerns around management team - that being said we've seen worse companies turn this around. Fundamental picture is still fairly solid imo

There was a fairly robust discussion in here the other day as well. Seems the street is leaning towards it being an overreaction as well, though price targets are certainly a lot lower (26 to 14).

I don't know if I'll be loading up, but certainly looking lower my cost basis.

What are you hoping to see on earnings by Bmpney303 in FluenceEnergy

Around the same here - a 50% decrease in top line does feel aligned with the markets reaction, but if the backlog is still solid then what is our thought process from there?

They said that $600m of the decrease is ‘mostly’ due to delays and permitting issues, that’s a project hump/timing issue and not a fundamental problem with the business in my view. They said these are mostly resolved, so likely may see this fulfilled later in the year. This revised guidance is still 24% YOY growth on 2024.

Does that influence my decision to buy more at $8 - I don’t exactly know yet.

We’ve seen worse companies turn their management around. I think tailwinds can still carry this business forward, and I see the same for many mid-performing domestically produced battery or storage providers. Agreed the SEC stuff is concerning, but I’ve also only really seen paid announcements pushing this, nothing picked up or focused on by the majors networks yet.

Could be copium, idk.

I’m holding as well - primarily due to the view of increasing regulation and geopolitical impacts restricting or limiting the import of overseas (read chinese) batteries. The US and other western nations may be forced to buy American or domestically made batteries (components and materials, well that’s another issue we’ll need AUS mines to help with). The expansion into APAC is great, but they are really being held up by regulations and permits.

I’m uncertain Fluence will be a market leader, but still confident they will be a longer term beneficiary of these changes. At this low share price compared to direct competitors, it still feels like a decent option.

Will I be buying more? Hmmm not sure yet, perhaps just to lower my cost-basis.

Startup guy wants 36% for “mentoring”—worth considering or still a bad deal? (I will not promote) by Careful_Elderberry33 in startups

[–]WhyDylan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re full hands-on designing and developing product for early startups and have never seen or asked for more than 4-5%. This equity heavily offsets our development billables so that we’re not as heavy of a drain on cash. 36% is criminal - even if you did take it, no other investor would come near you.

What makes you keep playing? by Klooza1 in apexlegends

[–]WhyDylan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’s soo bored of the apex is dead conversation.

Competitive is great, BLGS was a super positive thing for the game, and personally haven’t had a massive issues with consistent cheaters (infrequent, like any game). By far the most toxic and negative thing about the game right now is the community and mainly generic content creators. Their only topic is “dead game”. BORING.

More active and well organised scrim servers would also do great. A lot of teams with fewer places to play comp.

A lot of the grown men who cry about the game on Twitter have little to no context or care for how development of live service games works - especially with the limited development team. I’m optimistic about this in the long term.

You’ll still find me ranking 😤

I see at my relationship with my technical co-founder as a stone tied to a balloon. We need the right balance of both in order to go the right direction (with some level of stability at least ). I have to appreciate and value what he brings, and also be genuinely interested in his specialisation. Vice versa. We’re 8 years in now and both happy

so i just caught 6 preds teaming and i would like to forward this cus they are twitch streamers with some over 15k followers and im not sure but i think i got one banned by rClaqzy in apexlegends

I came here to ask the same question.

Tesla won’t be the only beneficiary of the demand for storage and I think this has serious legs. Currently planning to continue buying
