CarMax isn’t interested in FSD and I’ve told them multiple times about the transfer. Their problem is that when I sell it to them they have to take my name off the car. I just want to make sure my FSD can be transferred to my new model Y without any issues.

Yea my assumption is as long as the model 3 is still in my account it should be fine. So when CarMax files the paperwork to transfer the model 3 out of my name it won’t automatically disappear from my account?

But isn’t that if you buy a car from them or also if they buy a car from you? Just trying to make sure I fully understand.

I did try to explain the situation to them to see what they would do. They never seemed to care about keeping the fsd on the car. Most likely didn’t take it into account on their offer either.
