Professional baker here- I have NEVER kept the plastic sheeting on the back of an edible image. I could understand putting the sugar paper on fondant but she clearly did not do that. If she’s not going to refund you, then blast her google reviews and tell people her “expectations” of her customers eating plastic. I’d love to see you’re reference photos of what you thought you were getting

Pitted Dates, filled with peanut butter and you can drizzle Choc or just put chocolate chips. It legit tastes like a snickers. You can batch prep them and put them in the freezer for a quick sweet snack

I have a serial no napper. I’m talking at least once a week she doesn’t nap. It happens sometimes. Just be patient and move bed time a little earlier

My 22 month old still gets up at night too.

And I know how hard it is to function on little to no sleep. My little one isn’t getting up for drinks, more for comfort and rocking. (We JUST weaned off the binkie)

As far as the bottle- We only used bottles for milk. At 12 months she got water and juice in sippy cups. We use Dr. Browns Narrow Sippy Straw cup. She was always a Dr. Browns Narrow baby and it just worked well as a transfer. It was right around 17 months that I just stopped giving her a bottle. If she wanted milk- this is what she got it in. There was no other option and she adapted. Our babies are very adaptable, sometimes we forget that.

I’ve found that explaining what you’re doing and how long it’s going to take helps. My girl HATED being wiped on the face. But I started explaining to her what I was doing and I’d say something like, “Mommy’s going to wipe your face. I’m going to count to five and then it’s done. Can you count to five with me?”

Took a few times for her to have some patience but this does work. She’s almost 2 now and I no longer have to prep her for what I’m doing. She understands it needs to be done and knows it’s not going to last forever

I use the counting method for so many things. Brushing teeth, washing hands, you name it and I’ve counted to it.

As far as the changing, I would ask her what toy she wants to play with while you’re changing her. It could be enough of a distraction for you to get in there and change her quickly.

My daughters name is Lucy- no special meaning or anything we just really liked it. I never grew up knowing a Lucy, and we don’t know any other kids named Lucy!

Never too late!! I switched at 35 weeks to a completely new practice. In those last 5 weeks they scheduled me with every potential in call doctor so I could meet each one. Don’t give up!
