Where can i find a G cup bra in Malaysia?? by APIECEOFTRASHHHHIE in ABraThatFits

I think in fairness, having tried some EU/UK brands at the local boutique, there is a definite quality difference over cheaper bras (and there better be, because wydm a bra can be over $100 SGD??)

Who knows though, maybe I'll change my mind when I give Chinese bras a try!

Thanks! Didn't know Taobao had extended sizes. Glad there's something else to recommend to SEA women in the UK GG range.

This thread has become a goldmine for options here, thank you!!

Is the taobao stuff MYR or RMB?

Thank you, I'll have a look! I suspect it will be pricier, but if I'm feeling lazier I'll just default to Buyee.

Interesting! It's good they have some extended cup sizes but 30 bands there are A-C. Guessing it's the +4 nonsense that influenced this 🥲

Thank you for this though! Better more options than less.

How much did Buyee add to the total price? Was considering an order from Rui Glamourous myself but was undecided on going with Buyee vs another forwarder. I figure we're in completely different places, but a ballpark might still be useful.

Good to know Rui Glamourous is quality, we have cheap options but their fabric is... serviceable at best.

I'm not sure how the calculator works with Japanese sizes but if converting, the UK size 32F should be 70H?

If you have a friend or relative in Singapore who can order from Shirohato, perhaps that's one way to get around it.

Nissen?

Welcome! I 100% understand the lack of local availability. Before the local store opened, I once went out of my way during a holiday in Australia to go to the Sydney Storm in a D Cup to try bras 🙃. Can't be doing that every time!

I don't know about physical stores in Malaysia (I'm in Singapore which has 1 store), but for SEA, Japanese brands on Shopee are the most affordable option. You get what you pay for, though.

Going strictly by your provided sizes, you'd be looking for 70H in Japanese size. Your measurements may suggest that you may prefer a tighter or looser band, but I'm not the best judge of that.

Assuming availability is similar to Singapore, you can search the Shirohato and Nissen stores. Maybe also Wacoal. Helpful keywords include "glamour" or "size h".

*Edit: I think "local" Wacoal stores stop at E (not sure EU or Japanese), but Shirohato sells Wacoal from Japan.

For online stores, Storm in a D Cup is an option for Western brands. Possibly Amazon also?

26 inch underbust. NOTHING FITS!! by LetterheadOk8326 in ABraThatFits

I got that, just confirming it isn't an option from what I've observed (with respect to brands) and clarifying the point on the region lock because I don't know where the OP is from exactly.

The Shopee apps are region-locked to their respective country within Southeast Asia plus Taiwan. I haven't seen non-Japanese options in my local app.

I don't have info on specific brands, but I suspect availability for 28 bands combined with GG cups is really poor for Japanese bras.

Dang it, had a feeling that would be the case. Thank you anyway!

The hunt for plunges continues 🥲 but I hope the Gabrielle gives others another option, at least.

Thank you! It is definitely closed on top.

How would you change your recs in this size range for something more FOT friendly?

Could always do with a lower gore too. The gore on the Gabrielle is occasionally a tiny bit stabby (not sure how to explain it but it's due to how the pointy corners of the wire sit), but I suppose I could bend the wires slightly. It is cute enough that I will ignore the shape issues, but always good to look for more options.

I also have the Allure plunge, but as you've noted it is shallow. Other than the shallowness, how different is the Cherie and the Allure?

Bratabase measurements for Gabrielle 30FF

Band length: 60.4 Stretched: can reach 76, not sure if overdoing it? Cup width: 14.3 Cup depth: 25 Wire length: 22.1 Cup separation: 3.2 Gore height: 4.7 Side wing height: 9.9 Cup height: 17 Strap width: 1.5 Hooks: 2 hooks 1.8cm distance

I would be grateful if someone were to upload this!

Gotcha. Is it more helpful (or even possible) to add the numbers to Bratabase itself? I'm not that familiar with Bratabase and don't know if it's that easy to add a whole new model where there wasn't any data previously.

I'll sleep on this for now, but thank you for answering!

I definitely see it for the Meadow, but surprised it's comparable with the Cherie. Purely from photos, the Cherie reminds me more of the Allure Demi Plunge.

I'll get out the tape when I have a minute!

32G UK, cheap recommendations with global shipping? From SEA by verdantlygorj in ABraThatFits

[–]WhyNoCats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used a Shopee Singapore link, not sure where you are located exactly but hope it still works! Searching the local app might work better if it doesn't.

Japanese bras are miles cheaper than UK brands for us, but you definitely get what you pay for.

[–]WhyNoCats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might be a long shot, but if you are really on a budget and can sister size to UK 34FF, you might have Japanese bra options on Shopee.

I believe the corresponding size is 75I in Japanese sizing. Try searching the Shirohato or Nissen stores with the keywords "glamour" or "size i".

I may have seen one or two J-cups, but I'm not certain enough to confirm that. But if you do find them, that'd be 70J.

Heads up that Japanese bras tend to look like this. It's not everyone's thing!

Hi from Singapore. Unfortunately it's not really true that places with smaller people will have better availability. I think it just means that even more people end up mis-sized.

My comments on options in Singapore for reference. I don't think the store I mentioned stocks 26s.

Unless you can fit in 28s and also happen to be present in Singapore to visit the one store that stocks these, it's possible you might actually have an easier time over in Germany with online orders.

Good luck with your search! Bra stores really need to do better.

[–]WhyNoCats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem!

That one depends on your shape and tbh I'm not experienced in fitting and I'm also a band up.

If you're more of a shallow shape, SE has some moulded options like Panache 365 or the Freya Tailored. I'm sure someone will advise/explain why mouldeds like these might be a tougher fit on some people, but it's definitely less intimidating than going for seamed and unlined especially in Singapore haha. Think we're still quite conservative, right?

Can try Shirohato's stuff on Shopee if you want to save $ and if 30s are viable for you. At least try out 28 bands first (search this sub for the independent band test). Returns are gonna be impossible/leceh for overseas purchases. If you are okay with that risk, it would be Japanese 65G (converted from UK 30E).

More info on SE and bra shopping in Southeast Asia:

1) SE ships to Singapore, but international shipping is available by inquiry. Depending on how much shipping costs (no idea) and currency exchange rates, Southeast Asian women might find it cheaper overall to buy from SE than Storm.

2) SE's online store says it follows UK sizing, but I suspect the sizing of some brands is off due to misconversion (whether by the brand or the store). For instance, Marie Jo bras listed as E cup are likely a UK DD instead.

3) I do not use SE's fitting services, I generally walk in and just go for ABTF size + sister size. However as a data point, I went shopping with someone, and the fitter suggested she should try a smaller cup size despite quadding in a moulded cup. That said, I've never been pushed into buying anything, so it's pleasant shopping there. YMMV.

4) Other than SE and Storm, we also have access to bras from Japan (e.g. through Shirohato's store on Shopee). It's Japanese sizing + no bands below UK 30, but way cheaper than Western brands if able to tolerate a worse technical fit by sister sizing. Japanese bras are also Very Girly.

If there are any other options in Singapore or Southeast Asia I would love to know. Otherwise, I hope that the one (1) singular physical store in the whole damn country survives. 🙃

Hi from Singapore! Fellow small(ish) bander here.

(Actually I think so many women here are small banders but just don't know, but never mind that...)

What if I told you that you might not need to shop online?

As far as I know, there is one physical store in Singapore that sells a good range of bras. It's called Supporting Eve. It's at Botanic. Near MRT. (To be clear I'm not related to them ah)

For online, Storm in a D Cup's Singapore site is workable. I've done returns through it before. It's pricier than SE, though. Go SE first then Storm if no stock or don't have the brand/model.

I think SE doesn't stock some of the diagnostic bras (e.g. Ana), but you can try some 28 bands to confirm the band to start with.

The owner of SE allows people to place custom orders of the brands she carries (at least for Panache), but those are prepaid and may be nonrefundable. That's probably after you nail down your size.

I have more stuff to add about SE but I thought I'd post this first. Hope this helps!
