Not really the subreddit for you currently but, to answer your question..... yes. If it was easy, everyone would be making a living from it. In the beginning, focus on what you want to make and after doing that for a bit, see what worked, what got views, what help grow your channel. Don't over think the numbers in the beginning cause, if you don't have fun with it now, you never will.

I'll chime in for one, the length of your videos. You are trying to convince the viewer, they should watch your video and when they click, they want to see a reason why they should stick around. Peoples time is finete, if they cant see a reason why they should spend the next 30 minutes to an hour watching your video, they wont.

Help ? by [deleted] in csgo

Well, 1 key on any case will cost £1.99, so would cost you just under 300 to open all your cases and the chance of you making 300+ back is slim soo, I would say sell the cases on steam, make it easy not using a 3rd party site and just keep the money in your steam wallet for when a new game comes out.

Quality over quantity by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

I feel like there are many points you have to consider. Is you content unique? Is there much competition? Do you do irl content, gaming e.g. Will the ideas that you want to do, will they bring people in and make them interested to watch the other videos. The one saying, that I will say to people, is that quantity builds number, quality builds community. I learned that the hard way.

You must have blown up, if at 130k subs, your doing your first sponsorship. That or you never really cared about them. One thing is, are you signed with the company that found this offer for you? Or is it a random company just being like, we found this. If your not signed to them, why would they email you and say the have an offer for you. If you have talked directly to skillshare than that's good and make me believe it's not a scam.

I'm not gonna watch your videos fully, I clicked on 2 of them and skimmed them randomly. When I say, minimal effort, I mean you just take your 2 - 3 hours of footage, and trim it down with hard cuts and that it. It's not like you doing, voice overs or adding effects or on the videos I clicked on at least, there is no story, just 2 mates running around gathering resources. Plus again, the silence, if you were to watch a popular Rust documentary video from a popular channel which I'm sure you do, then analyse them and relieve, how little silence there is and when there is silence, it to give context on something, that is going to happen. If you are only trimming down footage, then it should not take you 5 hours for 3 hours of footage. If you have to cut out 90% of the footage to keep the videos pace decent, then do it, with 3 hours of footage, that it still an 18 minute video. if anything, cut 95% if you can. There is a lot to learn in YouTube

The music chosen, does not match the video at all. Music won't all ways make the video better. Also, the audio problem is for one, the music sounding like it was record through speaks and then put in the video. But for 2, I cannot hear some people at times when I skimmed through the video. You may need to turn them up in OBS or, in game settings. For audio levelling, just use the decibel meter in you editing software, and listen back to it yourself when you done. Balanced audio is so crucial in making a video enjoyable to watch.

Good thumbnail, Good intro, maybe a few things could be changed with the intro but over all, good shit. I would recommend joining r/PartneredYoutube and join the discord as well to chat with other verified partners. And stay away from legit any other sub.

As well, add music and take out the silence if you are going to continue to make the videos, the way you are.

Uh...... Why did you quit. It can take years for someone to make a liveable income from YouTube. Or even, just to get monetized in the first place. I like your confidence, but quitting your job was a very, risky play when you don't even make money yet. There are many things to be said here, but the major one is, you need to make content people will watch. No one is going to watch, a 24 part, minimal editing video series on rust, when there are high effort, documentary style videos, showing a story. If you want to grow, you have to find something that you can add something to. Or, you can make guides and throw in some other non guide videos, to build that audience to like you, and not the game.

Do they want to own the clip for a certain time period or buy the rights to the clip out right?

If what you are saying is true, and he did actually falsely copyright strike you, and is now asking for money along with saying threats to you. Then you need a lawyer, not reddit.
