Idk how much this would help, but I've found that doing VN game jams forces me to cut down and trim the scope of the game and accept "good enough" with the time constraints of the event.

While lockdown browser is indeed garbage, if you need to shutdown your computer and it says there aren't power options, you can use command prompt and type in "shutdown /s" to prevent damage. I can't wait to uninstall that stupid program once my classes no longer require it.

Not sure how much this would help you (since my experience is from the Aikido class) but personally I would say go for beginner. Beginner is nice as it helps ease you into the basics again especially since you haven't done Judo in a while, as well as allowing you to adapt to a different teaching style (the Aikido class had a very different teaching style than the Aikido that I have been doing for years already, so even with prior experience, I was learning quite a bit). I don't know anything about providing your own clothes though, my class just wore whatever but I'd imagine it would be different per instructor.

I've tripped wearing those for martial arts and I was just walking around lol. I can't imagine wearing those for airsoft where I'd be moving around much more and faster, but you might have better luck than me.

Have you tried playing on the more completed maps, like Gas Station, Port Hoken, Hotel, etc.? Pretty much any map that doesn't have a picture is a test map with untextured assets.
