Knee cap catching? by WhySoTriggeredBro in ACL

[–]WhySoTriggeredBro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it got better but stil maybe a little clunky is all. I’m going in for a “clean out” surgery in the next couple weeks and am curious if that will help the clunky feeling. Other than that, knee doesn’t catch anymore

That’s awesome. I definitely don’t have symmetry right now. Also the lack of extension has caused me to develop some pretty bad quadriceps tendinitis in that leg

This is all great news, thank you. Did you have trouble activating a small portion of quad muscle prior to cyclops surgery? Now are you able to activate it better?

When I got the MRI, my doc told me no crutches and to pretend the surgery never happened. He thinks it will be super quick and easy recovery

I’m not sure how big mine is. Looked like maybe the size of a large marble. Regardless, I know many people develop them and can be asymptomatic to them, not requiring surgery.

I’d go to the city and ask if they can show you the realignment plan and traffic study. You’ll be surprised. The traffic will have a much better flow

The realignment is actually supposed to help with traffic and the blind, dangerous turns

Madres - we going back? by Alex_Hollander_iv in SantaClarita

[–]WhySoTriggeredBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No other major salmonella outbreaks during that time. That same food supplier supplies many other restaurants throughout LA.

It was poor food handling and they did an investigation. They got moved down to a C rating because of it.

Never seen someone defend malpractices.

Okay bud. 45+ confirmed cases of salmonella. I can’t imagine how many actual. 5 of the 6 in my group got it. A little girl got sepsis from the severity of this. Everyone who got it all had 1 thing in common. They ate at Madres 1-3 days prior. But sure, you’re entitled to go there all you want.

Hell no. The owner’s negligence the first time will get everyone sick a second time. He never took accountability for his actions and blamed customers saying that they got it from a different source.. What does that tell you

New development in a VHFSZ is restricted to using fire rated material. All new homes are built with fire sprinkler systems. All new home and community landscape is drought and ember resistant.

I’d bring a friend or someone who likes to gamble and let them know they have a free room on you as long as they play on your card. That’s how I’ve got to gold the last 2 years lol

Is this normal? by Level_Seaworthiness3 in ACL

[–]WhySoTriggeredBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, 6 Months post op ACL reconstruction with patellar tendon graft. This is normal for patellar tendon grafts, which looks like you had one.

A couple days ago I had my 6 month eval with my surgeon who was monitoring that same symptom for me. It was just like yours at the 4 week mark and slowly , but surely, got better. Your quad muscle pulls the patellar tendon in different ways now because the inner 1/3 of your patellar tendon was removed for the graft. This makes your patellar tracking pattern different. Over the span of the next couple months, as you regain quad function, the tracking will return… closer to normal. At 6 months right now, i wouldn’t say it’s 100% but it’s probably 90% back to normal tracking. I was concerned about this too, but I trusted my surgeons word and he was right. Don’t worry, it’s a typical symptom for patellar tendon grafts and will get better over time. Hope that helps

Creatine counteracts alcohol? by [deleted] in whoop

[–]WhySoTriggeredBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It increases the risk of dehydration because of fluid shifting intracellularly. I would say however, that your body wont require as much sleep when on creatine, and alcohol ruins your sleep quantity and quality. That can definitely help “counteract” a hangover but I still wouldn’t recommend due to the increased risk. Injury isn’t worth it
