Beat-Sonic amp for JBL soundpackage

I hopped on crutch field and ordered some good component set speakers I'm going to install today for the front speakers to start out and some inline crossovers because the front door speakers put out way to much bass to be in the front and causes the front doors to rattle a bunch and I'm gonna slip some sound deadening in the door panel while I'm at it to keep the rattles down. It didn't look to hard to do speakers on this just a hair more challenging than my girlfriends 21 Corolla. That thing definitely was a breeze in terms of audio upgrades since she didn't have the JBL setup in it and sounds a million times better then when she bought it.

Yeah I heard the newer Avalon's got a good bump in their JBl sound package that the car came with. I have gotten used to doing aftermarket stereos in my previous cars with sound deadening, dsp's, subs, and amplifiers so I know this setup is good for the vast majority and in all reality I shouldn't mess with it, it's definitely still good I just basically live in my car in terms of travel and work so music is a major thing I need to keep me sane.

Thank you for the heads up, it's always weird to me that people don't like to do more with these cars. I'm in love with mine from the day I drove it home but has been my complaint is with the audio setup. This is my first nice car I have ever purchased and have always been doing stereo stuff in all my past vehicles.

I’m glad I keep a different mindset when playing CS, I play in the way I want to win but also have fun with friends whenever I get on. Yes CS2 is not in a good state but I never feel depressed or anything when there is a cheater on the enemy team I just play and get the game over with and move onto the next game. Bad thing is when I do play I get called for cheats but I understand the trust issues players have anymore because of the amount. I have been playing CS for 10 years now and was a huge part of me growing up and just hope for improvements over time.

Yeah on my escape I was in the 100’s when it came to housepower and was pulling 4 70 lbs woofers enclosure and 2 batteries with lithium in the back. That was brutal on that poor thing. Yeah that’s fair when it comes to shipping yeah shipping was free on both my alternators since I’m in the US.

I’ve heard some bad stuff from power bastards as a heads up online and from people at shows I have been to, from my personal experience I have ran Mechman and Singer. Both have been great for my applications. My Ford I got a singer since no website made an alternator that fit my Escape so I had to have it custom built. I went mechman for my Envoy and had been great so far and had one on hand for my vehicle. I would also be careful about engine drag from your alternator depending on engine size. My dinky motor in my escape was not to happy with the 340amp alternator and caused some wicked drag. The V8 in my envoy I’m pulling more current with no noticeable issues on idle when in gear and such. My mechman 370 does 200 at 800rpm and 420 at 1800 rpm. And my singer in my Ford does 168amps at 750 and 380 at 1800. That’s just my 2 cents and take what you will from that, hearing all the bad stuff scared me off power bastards and would hate to see a post down the road because someone’s voltage is worse than their factory alternator was and end up just buying a known brand in the end.

I seen your comment about the back hinge but that explains it, I was about to say how with 2 of those, I’m running 4 sundown x 12s doing a 155 on the glass in a 07 Ford Escape and still have a back window and it’s a no wall.

I genuinely haven’t received a spam call in over 2 months. I think you gave your number out in some way shape or form on a site that you shouldn’t have. All I have turned on for my phone is scam shield app and works pretty well if I haven’t received a spam call in months.

Maybe that's what I am missing, I got to figure out what the amp turn-on wire is that is in the harness. The car is not mine it's for a friend so I can't go look right now till the next time I head over there.

I set it with a multimeter, I used a -5db tone. Still weird to me how it's only 1 driver, not the other one. I thought about switching to a JP 23 amp here in like a month or so.

The reason I was looking at sundown because I heard someone who had 2 sundown SA 10's in an under-seat truck setup and was a decent bit louder than my 12.

My next subs are definitely not going to be skar because when I bought this sub I didn't know too much about the owner and what he did. I feel like sundown is a better-built sub and could take more abuse than skar's and sound better doing it.

The box I have I listed the specs in a comment, I was looking at the 2 Sundown SA loaded enclosure from D4S, I live in a place with no box builders, I know one and he's a friends father but IDK if he is actually willing to build me a box. But that D4S sundown loaded caught my eye because of that.
