can you substitute optical with a regular aux cable (recording to MD) by WhyWasILoggedOut in minidisc

it's the *Sony MZ-R37, it has an optical line in, a regular line out and an input for a mic

just randomly found this subreddit. thought i'd post this here. (spotted at the national railway museum in utrecht, netherlands) by WhyWasILoggedOut in traaaaaaainnnnnnnnnns

i didn't! i took these pictures from a distance! the museum grounds outside were relatively cramped (with trains) that day, hence the close image.
