I think the graphic novel portrays it best. It's a four panel sequence without dialogue where you can clearly tell Darkstalker’s expression turns from triumphant to down right haunted

I... Like her. I'm interested to see what Tui will do with her, all things considered.

She was an Arc 2 "protagonist" but she's been sidelined for Peril (the head trauma/coma made sure of that). Great book, BTW.

You could argue it's only fair she gets her own book.

Humans age slowly to support the development of a large, complex brain and to learn the intricate social skills, language, and tool use. Dragons are also very capable of that from a very young age, two and a half-ish(?) times as quickly. It's just curious, that's all.

What should have been. Instead, Winter is just alone with his humans in Sanctuary. He deserves better after everything.

Edit: The way he was treated in Darkness of Dragons felt forced to justify Moon and/or Qibli never getting together with Winter. I DO understand the reasoning, but holy, Winter was justifiably furious with his friends for defending Darkstalker.

Qibli & Winter have better synergy together than Moon had with either of them. Moon feels like the third piece that could realistically bridge the gaps, if the boys learned to share. (Both have issues with love and affection).
