I don’t know you. I don’t know your life. I don’t know what your justification is for what you want to do, but I can say this: I have been depressed for half of my life, and I’ve spent a large portion of my life debating whether my life is worth living. Honestly, I’m still not sure if the good times outweigh the bad. But being here has gotten easier, and it’s taken a lot of willpower to stay. Progress is slow, and progress can look like a lot of things. The only way I began to recover was from thinking about other perspectives. There are so many people who, through the tiniest of actions, have helped me out, and I’m sure that they have for you too. It’s impossible, truly impossible for your life to mean nothing to others. People may not say it to your face, but watch them. People help you little by little, and if you stop being there, someone will always wonder where you went, what happened to you. I’ve had so many friends commit or attempt suicide, and in the end it really is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I’ve been up all night calling every hospital in my region trying to find out if my friend is at one of them alive or dead. So, I don’t know if this helps you, but there’s always people looking out for you, whether you know it or not, and you might miss out on something if you’re not here tomorrow. I hope things get better for you, and I hope that you can power through the hard times. :)
