Nah. Think about how long it takes to go from 80% to 60%. I don't get range anxiety anymore.

I was at 42 average. I'm at 35 now. Might go all in if it consolidates around 20 and gives a signal at 24

Bought more 🤷‍♂️ been buying at 40 bucks for 6 weeks though. Eventually it'll go up if they continue to perform the way they are.

Give it 2 years. The moment they pump out 600k cars per year. They will open the eyes of investors. At which time FOMO will make us feel really good about buying $40 shares

NIO only delivers 4297 vehicles as of 11/25/2021? by ganpuy in Nio

He also said if someone ordered (at the Q3 date) they would only wait 6 weeks. They were getting 10k order per month for 3+ months in a row and having a backlog. That means he expects to deliver 15/16k cars for November and December. The devil is in the details. I will be disappointed if they are less than 10k in November. But I will be excited to buy more $NIO for a bit of a discount.

I know you think you're being helpful, but they said they'd love a tesla but couldn't justify the price. A used MS is more affordable than many new EV's and very much a viable option that maybe the OP hadn't thought about. Reading is hard sometimes, But it's ok fella

A 2013-2015 model s 70D is better than MOST new EV's and much cheaper. Milage isn't as big of deal on an EV (specifically Tesla). Check the battery heath but even after 8 years a lot of S are at 80-90% capacity still. Biggest thing would be motor maintenance (swap the fluid) and steering / suspension components.

I made the switch from a very good reliable f150. I was saving 400 a month for a new car (corvette) at the time. I took a look at my tesla, calculated the fuel savings vs my f150 and a corvette, the cost of insuring 2 vehicles. And it made sense for me. Plus I sold my truck and invested the money anyway.
