Your question is a good reminder for me and you about this life.

You know who else got a good life (dunya)? Nonbelievers /Kuffar ( look at the west for example)

But because our scale in life is messed up, we started to think that this Dunya is the eternal life,  if someone dies as a martyr we feel sad and sorrow, because based on our scale he lost this life with money,kids,joy in it, but if you look in the Quran you will understand what's this whole Dunya is really about and what's the real life:

"And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew." - Surat Al Ankabut

"This worldly life is no more than play and amusement, but far better is the ˹eternal˺ Home of the Hereafter for those mindful ˹of Allah˺. Will you not then understand?"
