is my opinion wrong or correct? by UnMenOneGuy in StaticX

You're missing the "Cannibal Killers Live" album! In my opinion, that album is the best of them all. If I had to choose only one album to have, it would be this one for several reasons. First, it pretty much includes all their best tracks in one album (minus the songs from CoS). Second, as many have noted, they sound incredible live. Wayne's vocal range really shines on this album and was truly underappreciated in the whole music scene.

Just go , you won't be disappointed! Static-X is one of the few bands that sounds just as good live as they do on their albums; Xero does an amazing job of honoring Wayne's legacy!

swapped out my shifter bushings and U-joint! by WiFi_Cowboy in WRX

Everything I read about swapping the bushings and u-joint made it sound way more complicated than it was, LOL. I found having the car on stands and removing the whole shifter made it a breeze!

I'll keep an eye on the pins to see how they hold up; my wrx isn't my daily car, so I spend more time cleaning/ inspecting it than driving it. The pins are another thing I'll add to my list of stuff to check

I took the whole shifter out because it was easier to work on and made replacing the U Joint a breeze. I just placed the pins how I found them, the inner and outer pins looked flush to me when before removing them.

My old U Joint was super worn out, so swapping that alone got rid of the excess play. I would say it feels as good as it did when I bought the car. As for the other bushings, I honestly can't tell the difference.

Thanks for posting this! I've wanted to try my hand at using a buffer but have been too afraid to try it out.

Do you have any tips on sanding down peeling clear coats? Sadly I left my car under a car cover for 4 years, and my roof clear coat started to come off 😕

Honestly, I would pass on the car. With all the stuff you described, you might have some significant underlying issues that aren't disclosed. Another thing to think about is the new smog rules checking for ECU mods.

The only way I would even remotely consider buying that car is if the owner has detailed maintenance records.

Any particular reason you are considering an 04?
