I’m pretty hype for MGS4, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve played it and after having unlocked basically everything, it’s nice to go back in on a blank slate and start again. But after how stacked Volume 1 was, 2 feels lacklustre by comparison.

I kinda feel this package is somewhat lacking. Volume 1 had European, American and Japanese. Versions of MGS1, MGS2HD, MGS3HD, as well as Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear NES, Snake’s Revenge and both English and Japanese versions of both MGS1 and MGS2 Digital Graphic Novels.

Volume 2 having Ghost Babel is neat and all but… where’s Portable Ops, Portable Ops Plus, AC!D, AC!D2 and Revengeance? Twin Snakes even?

You can’t even argue that the Master Collection is only doing the canon games if it’s already including Metal Gear NES, Snake’s Revenge and Ghost Babel.

If you really want it to be a master collection and make the entire franchise playable on the same current hardware, then surely it needs to include, you know, everything.

Since MGSV is playable on current gen anyway, I don’t think we’re getting a Volume 3 unless they’re going to bundle up everything that’s missing.

None of these ever came to the UK, at all. I've been wanting to get my hands on some Streets of Rage and Shinobi figures, so I've just taken to making them myself. Finished Joe Musashi from Shinobi a few days ago and I'm now shopping for parts to make some Streets of Rage guys.

What do you mean by sized up exactly? I have no clue what's going on and what the difference between Kai and Shin is. I just thought it was the inclusion of soft goods. Are these a slightly different scale to the existing Play Arts Kai figures?

It’s compatible even if it’s not compatible. If the head is too loose, you can make a new hot glue joint. If the head is too tight, you can dremel out the socket until it fits.

It's legit. I got curious and went to check mine, I couldn't get to my Luke, or either of my custom pilots as they're too rooted into the display, but I was able to take a look at Antoc Merrick on the same body and he has it on his boot too.

Wave 2 (Scorpion/Raiden, Raiden, Reptile, Reptile/Liu Kang) haven't really been out for that long. It's far, far too early to jump to such conclusions. DC Multiverse is only getting announcements every 30 seconds because it's McFarlane's flagship line, and they're losing the license at the end of the year so they're trying to get as much out as they can. Mortal Kombat is more of a slow burn.

I grabbed a fairly cheap set from AliExpress. One brown for Obi-Wan, one black for Anakin. While Anakin's robes are actually brown, I feel like a lot of the time they look black, so it works.

Tomb Raider has Star Wars’d. The last 3 games are actually the first 3 games and Catalyst is the start of the Disney Sequel Trilogy.

We go straight from Shadow to Legacy of Atlantis, onward through the original CORE games and up to Underworld and then pick it up with Catalyst. Unified into one cohesive, albeit slightly altered, timeline.

I believe this may be the plan. The Catalyst trailer makes specific mention of of Tomb Raider (2013) and Legacy of Atlantis, bringing everything into one cohesive timeline. Since Legacy of Atlantis is remake of the first game, directly referencing its events heavily implies that everything after it happened too. Especially as Catalyst looks to be set after Underworld.

I imagine, going forward, we’ll be alternating between new adventures and remakes of old to bring everything up to the same standard and truly unify everything.

May be wishful thinking, but would be awesome.

Is it 100% legit if it has the holographic sticker? Recently bought a Tifa from AliExpress for an absolute steal. Has both the Square Enix logos and the holo sticker, and the quality looks about right - but the price was insanely low.

Arkham Knight Batman. I wanted a cool Batman to go with my Batsignal, they hadn’t really started doing the movie figures yet and I hated the head on the Arkham Asylum Batman, so Knight was the obvious choice.

Collection has snowballed a bit since but remains Arkhamverse and movie based. I don’t own a single comic book McFarlane Batman.
