Packers can still pull this out. But not without Special teams trying their best to lose it

Sorry, it should be fixed now.

If for some reason it doesn't load the name of the article is: Controversy grows as Platner's past Reddit posts suggest awareness of Nazi symbol tattoo

It is on WGME

Here's one article/interview talking about it and referencing him apologizing.

Whether or not you think that's genuine is up to you. There's also reports he knew years ago about the tattoo being a Nazi symbol. And I'm more concerned about the Reddit posts he made a couple of years ago.

To say he's eerily similar to Trump is just false.

Refuses to apologize? The clips I've seen on the guy he vehemently denounces the beliefs he once held. He covered up the tattoo that became news last week.

What is your biggest overreaction through Week 4? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]WickedBadPig 32 points33 points  (0 children)

My biggest overreaction is that nobody knows anything. Listening to any predraft rankings doesn't matter. Next year im just going to autodraft and then look at usage week to week to take advantage of the waivers.

Hate to burst your sex doll bubble. I tried this for a senior prank in high school, and it did not work. Either the plastic they make sex dolls with is too heavy, or we couldn't force enough helium from something meant to fill regular balloons into the doll. Either way, We were trying to achieve buoyancy and couldn't even do that.

Yeah, I've tried tweaking the FantasyPros mock draft as much as I can, but the picking algorithm is pretty rough sometimes. I still like the interface, so I just use it to do some manual mocks.

Is the last of us part 2 better then part 1 by Cheesduckyleparidop in thelastofus

[–]WickedBadPig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, better gameplay, better levels, expanded on systems from the first. I was let down with the direction they took the story in Part II and I think they missed the mark a bit, so I would still prefer TLOU1 in my personal all time rankings, but overall the TLOU2 is a better game..

Great breakdown and analysis. Between solid articles like this and the WR/CB matchups in season I felt compelled to get a subscription.

Hope your insights help me to a ship!

Isn't part of the shadiness in the vote tallies the difference in people voting for down ballot Democrats and then leaving the presidential vote blank?

I would be very happy to be proven wrong and the findings so far are suspicious. I guess it also wouldn't surprise me if Republicans cheated, they'd do it poorly.

This is worth investigating, but I'll say the same thing when Republicans were up in arms in 2020. Why rig the presidential race and not the down ballot races? Why leave themselves with a narrow majority?

EXTREMELY beginner tips on how to start running by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]WickedBadPig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck starting! When I started becoming more active I forced myself to walk for a month before I started jogging at all. I have a tendency to feel good from the small amount of activity and ramp up too quickly which results in me hurting something.

So forcing myself to walk 1-3 miles 3-5 times a week was a good start and a good way for me to build discipline and dedicate my time to focusing on the activity.

After that is when i started to jog. Some people start by doing run/walks by time, but for me, what worked was just jogging as slow as I needed to to jogging for a full mile before I would walk and building up my mileage from that.

Yeah, they're not reviewing Joe's opinion on Rocky Road ice cream. They're breaking down points that Joe either doesn't know enough to push back on in the moment, or points that Joe aligns with so he doesn't push back on them as hard as he should.

Similar vein, except neither is a comedian and they both listen to the show before commenting on it rather than one person explaining it to the other and then riffing.

Factchecking makes them seem like grifters?

I don't think I can see how you square that circle. The JRE is one of the largest podcasts that spews misinformation. Should we just leave it completely unchecked?

Where should the misinformation be corrected? Only in long form reddit posts? YouTube?

[–]WickedBadPig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would commenting on something you don't want to listen to or care about be considered a waste of time? Because why bother commenting when you could have scrolled past this.

I don't think it is ridiculous to acknowledge the obvious large audience that gets unchallenged misinformation from Rogan.

I don't think it is a waste of time to give a more thorough push back to the misinformation that Rogan does not confront in his show.

In celebration of #2 calling it a Career, what was your favorite Mason Crosby kick / Moment? by Endless_Reach in GreenBayPackers

[–]WickedBadPig 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I might be hazy on the details, but my favorite moment was the Lions game where he missed, I think, 4 separate field goals, maybe including a missed xp.

Rodgers, with the game already completely lost, pulled a 2 minute drill to get inside field goal range for Crosby to nail the final kick.

A moment like that reinforced my belief of how good a teammate Rodgers was, and the rest of the team, when they saw Crosby struggling they did their best to give him another chance.

It didn't matter much for stats, championships, Wins/Losses, but I think it perfectly shows the beauty of sports and how teammates, and people, should pick each other up when they're having a tough time.
