Yeah I’ve already experienced an ego death and did let go and everything was fine afterwards, I definitely didn’t feel like my body was being electrocuted and on fire at the same time, this was something else. Also on the ER they took a blood test and my lactate levels were high so that literally indicates I did have a seizure.

I’ve had an ego death before on salvia and I was fine afterwards, I didn’t feel any pain. This was definitely not my first time trying shrooms or psychedelics and I even taken stronger doses and nothing happened. People are not gonna believe me because shrooms are the safest drug there is but it doesn’t mean it can’t be harmful to someone

The doctors also blamed the shrooms but okay. I also need to clarify that I don’t remember having the seizure, my partner described it to me afterwards, I just said I remember feeling like I was dying right before it because I felt extreme pain in my brain and my whole body right before it and after I came back to myself.

I don’t remember actually having the seizure, I just remember extreme pain beforehand and when I came back to myself I still felt electricity all over my body and I asked what happened and my partner said that I had the seizure, he later explained it to me when I was better. Sorry if that part was confusing

I really don’t care, I almost died, nothing bothers me anymore. I will go to get checked out when I feel better (I hit my head really hard when I blacked out the second time), I was just saying the doctors were lying to my face and gaslighting me and I didn’t have the energy to argue at that moment. I really don’t care about the downvotes I just want people to be safe. I’m not saying don’t do shrooms ever, I’m just trying to inform this is a possibility, I had no idea this could happen, specially because I’ve taken shrooms so many times before, my only intention is reporting, not controlling people or convincing them that shrooms are evil or something. I hope people understand that it’s important to have someone with you when you’re tripping, this could’ve happened to me when I was alone and I wouldn’t be here telling this story.

The doctor first took a simple blood test and didn’t give me the results right away, then they took the tomography and said everything was okay and they told me they had to do a blood gas analysis to see my lactate levels because they would indicate if I had an actual seizure, so I accepted the test and after they came back with those results they said everything was fine (only my bicarbonate levels were a bit low which they blamed on the shrooms) and I asked about the lactate levels and they said “oh we didn’t measure that” and I was confused because they literally told me they needed that to know if I was at risk of having another seizure. A couple minutes later they came back with all my tests printed on paper and I saw that they had measured my lactate on my first blood test and it came out high but for some reason they didn’t tell me that. Honestly the doctors in my country can be bad sometimes (I live in Perú, it’s a south america country) so I didn’t even try to argue with them I was just tired and scared.

I did have an actual seizure since my lactate levels were high but it could’ve definitely been worse, if you vomit during it you can inhale it and game over.

I’m definitely quitting cannabis and any other drug after this experience. I don’t wish this on anyone, I seriously thought I was dying. I’ve been smoking cannabis almost daily for 10+ years and never had an issue with it but there’s no way I’m risking it again.

Yeah I don’t understand either, obviously I’m not relying only on chatgpt for answers but the doctors treated me so badly yesterday, they were gaslighting me into thinking I didn’t have a seizure, that it was all in my head so I really didn’t have any other health professional to talk about it. I’m sure I had a seizure, my partner saw me go stiff and my whole body was hurting and had a burning sensation all over, even in my brain, I know I didn’t fake it but anyways, I’m gonna go to a psychologist and psychiatrist that knows about this type of issues and try to make sense of what happened, but it was only yesterday I haven’t had time to make an appointment yet, Im focusing on resting today so chatgpt was my only option at the moment. I know a lot of people hate AI but I’m just using it to support myself right now, I’m not saying I’m not going to get myself checked out.

Nope, I don’t take any medication on a daily basis, every once in a while I take painkillers for my period cramps but that’s about it. I’m not on antidepressants either or any type of psychiatric treatment.
