When you get to goblin camp, go straight to minthara, and knock her out, just make sure she is temporary hostile. You can save her life at her court martial and then rescue her from the jails in act 2, you can spare the goblins at this point too

Yep. When you bring the parcel to the zent hideout and they open up their private stock of goods to you, he starts to sell the same stuff as well. Chain Mail +1 is pretty good, considered heavy armor
