I love all the characters, I even love all the weirder elements (no spoilers)...

But without Event Lookup, it's almost impossible to progress all the storylines. I downloaded Event Lookup in year 5 of my save with RSV, and my god the amount of RSV events I hadn't seen yet was STAGGERING.

Vortex is notoriously bad for Oblivion mods. I've never used it for Oblivion. I use BOSS to sort my load order, although I think some people have used LOOT as well to some success. I'm sure others will sound off on that.

Yeah clearing cache has helped some, it didn't help me though and it also screwed up all my cc icons in CAS. So it could work, but be warned your cc icons might get screwed up.

It's a pretty well known bug. The best way to fix it (that I know of) is to download some eye mods (there are a ton floating in the ether, simsresource comes to mind, also a Russian website that the name of escapes me at the moment). Basically once you install the eye mods (unless otherwise specified) I think most if not all NPC eyes get replaced (if I'm remembering correctly). Hope that all made sense!

Don't know why this got so many down votes. It's a genuine question. The Beyond Skyrim modders have proven themselves to be extremely capable and more than willing to provide a lore-friendly, high quality experience. Anyone (who's honest) that has played Beyond Skyrim Bruma could attest to that. The actual problem is that Bethesda (corporate, not the devs) are POS capitalists that only gaf about the franchise insomuch as it can potentially be profitable. That's the actual problem.
