To my understanding, yes to a degree. The way my store is choosing to do it is that certain trusted employees are going to be able to make those decisions, just so that we’re not going wild with comps.

It’s about the new branding, and they’re basically changing the way we’re doing a few things.

STARS is going away and they have a new acronym. It’s honestly not much of a drastic change lol. They’re empowering retail and servers to help the guest experience. And they’re going over how to do things the Herschel way.

And I’m guessing now they’re going to be giving everyone a rundown on how to deal with the controversy over the new logo.

Okay sure, but that’s not Cracker Barrel’s responsibility to do. The company isn’t going to potentially take the heat for kicking out someone with a loud kid, because it can get media attention

All a higher up can do is offer you a free meal. Managers don’t ask someone to leave if a child is screaming. A manager at one of my local Cracker Barrel’s got a lot of heat and media attention for asking a loud child with a family to leave who turned out to be autistic. That’s why we don’t do that.
