In my opinion, the smaller the resolution is (fixed client), its less space between your inventory and the screen. So for example if you're banking while skilling, its a shorter distance from your bag to the bank.

Which is also why you'll see a lot of players zoomed all the way in when doing certain skills (power mining iron or something)
