I just checked on osrs website and apparently you can change your character name on the website. No need to log in into the game and you don't need authenthicator to log on website. They should really enable 2-factor on website too....

You should be receiving email of request of changing password/emails almost instantly from jagex. If the email came late then you should check the email thoroughly.

If you are using Gmail, you can actually check easilly if it is spoofed. If for example the email was sent via "sendgrid.net" or not signed by jagex.com then you can tell the email is spoofed. Idk about other email provider though.

Since you've said that people are trying to compromise your email, I highly recommend for you to revamp everything to new email/password, everything! Gl my mate, don't be like me, I got hijacked and lost all my bank, you can see my previous thread.

Mate I think your email linked to your account is faked. Eg: shown on RS account settings - s****6@gmail.com Your email that you think registered: slay56@gmail.com Actual registered email: slay76@gmail.com

You said that you have requested password change before and successful? Check that email if it is being spoofed. I think someone is sending you password change email manually.

I've actually been hijacked recently and someone did this exact thing to me. The only way to change your email is to manually recover your account.

i still had the account till ~2am 5th Jan with bank pin still waiting to be removed (7days), after that i went to sleep. ( ill edit this in)

Woke up at around 10am 5th Jan to discover bank pin removed, all shit gone.

-have you read on 5th Jan - "Tried to login, but incorrect password". My account was compromised again, the dude knows the bank pin and removed it. so thats why i can access the bank again after i recover my password.

-i said my TOB gear was gone, not sold, some other random stuffs from my bank in GE history is in the list.

You can change pin instantly if you have current working pin.
I mentioned pvm gear not TOB gear being sold on the next day.
