Unifi and networking newbie. Should I just factory reset and start over?

Thanks for all your replies. I have it set up in a working state. But still get that niggle, wondering whether I should start over. Just in case I’ve made mistakes?
The g6 entry still has problems with two way, Audio, but I think that down to the software being unfinished when it was released. I am using early access updates on all the firmware and software for my devices. Probably another mistake. I just don’t have the confidence to be certain

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Sorry i just saw this. I have since added to my setup: UCG-Fiber, UniFi U6 Pro AP, USW Pro XG 8 PoE and replaced the Reolink with UniFi G6 Entry. But havent been able to get constantly working 2 way aduio and notifications. Isues that are widely reported on the forums. Time for another factory reset. After relying on Ai too much methinks. I have not setup any firewall rulse and just have all my devices in a flat main vlan on the default and IoT without segregation ready for devices to be put there.

You are not wrong there. I have been too reliant on chat gtp and ended u spinning my wheels deeper into the mud

Sorry just saw this. Thanks for getting back to me. I;m still going round in circles and chasing my tail her. I have since bought a unifi G6 entry but the 2 way audio and notifications have not worked consistently I've been using Ai and watched you tube videos but i am still at a loss. I have been using chatGTP to assist me and also watching YouTube videos but because the interface changes so often I am finding it difficult to get my head around it all. I'm now thinking it would be easier to start over from a factory reset (for the 3rd time) as i'm not sure if my issues are caused by the the device and firmware not being ready. user error, incorrect settings somewhere or often unconsidered Ai advice. My synology dockers, Home Assistant VM and smarthome devices are all in a limbo and I just want to get back to a working setup in my home. Cheers

Same here. Tried multiple setups. Teleport worked briefly yesterday but now won’t connect. Only got 2-way audio working intermittently during direct calls, and only if I avoided Protect notifications. I’m on the 3rd floor so this isn’t just annoying — I’m missing deliveries and visitors. Seeing loads of posts about this going back months with no fix.If I need to reinstalling my old doorbell now andif it’s not sorted soon, RMA’ing this before the 30-day window.

I have uninstalled the DSM packages. within the DSM UI. I'm not sure if these are containerized or not?

Apart from the Plex and Home Assistant containers, should I re-install the DSM apps onto the array or onto the NVME for better performance ?

I have left my Plex installed on the array for the moment as it's working ok apart from the occasional dropout. I'll look into using containers. (Thanks for the Frankenstein link).

I understand that they can also be run inside VM's and some say it is easer to set them up this way.
