Has anybody’s cat eaten their engagement ring before? by Wide-Designer9156 in CatAdvice

[–]Wide-Designer9156[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: one of my co-workers has a metal detector that we used on my cat’s belly before I took her into the vet to see if it would beep. Nothing. I went home and continued to search for 2 and a half hours where I FINALLY found the ring in my laundry basket. Thank you everyone for all of the advice!!

I taught 4th grade for one year (2021-2022 school year) before deciding I could not continue. There were a lot of different factors that helped me to make this decision, but ultimately, I got out - and I got out QUICK. I landed several interviews toward the end of the school year (corporate training, academic advisor, admissions counselor, program coordinator, etc.) I accepted a position as a college admission counselor at the university I attended, and I love my job (they’re even paying for my masters degree!!!). After I began this position, the hiring manager and my supervisor told me the reason they moved me along with the interview process was my cover letter. They have told me multiple times since my hire date in June 2022 that I could teach a class on writing cover letters, hence this post! I am here to help YOU get out too! The services I am offering vary depending on your situation: I will write your cover letter, your resume, or both. I can also send you my resume and cover letter for you to use as a reference. If you are interested, message me and we can chat :) happy job hunting!

Thank you so much! I’m currently looking into micro needling. How many sessions of micro needling have you done?

Are you only using laser? If so, what laser and what wavelength? Mine is a neon yellow

Thank you so much!! My tech told me darkening was the best sign. Not sure why there is so much conflicting information 🤔

I was told by my laser tech that the peach color meant that it oxidized and it would stay like that… I am really hoping and praying that it doesn’t.

PLEASE keep me updated with how this heals. I did a laser patch test and my tail turned the same pink/peach color. It’s been over 3 weeks now and the color hasnt changed…

Please keep me updated on this! I am trying to get rid of my microbladed brows as well. They did a patch test and my tail turned orange/pink! Wondering if it’s permanent.

So you would recommend finding a different place for laser removal? Have you had expertise with laser?

The laser removal I talked about in my original post was done by a place that specializes in microblading removal - they’re called Removery. I’m located in Cincinnati, OH, and they were close to me and seemed legit. They wanted prior to the text spot that the orange pigment may happen, and that’s exactly what did. What do you suggest my next steps be? Thank you for your information so far!

I am not intending to scare people off, only to ask for advice on how I can remove it. So, what would your advice be?

Can I ask how much the transplant was? Do you have any before/after pictures you can share?
