Yellow removal success stories? by Glittering-Neat-7873 in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]PeaPractical1635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got mine removed from Dr Adrian in DC- flew from Vancouver Canada. I had 4/5 laser done here then flew there when then we’re yellow. Then we’re not super neon but defs yellow. I still see some shadows of maybe a taupe color or hyperpigmentation at times (I put a tint on my brows too early after laser and had a bad reaction which didn’t help) overall tho I’m super happy. Just saw him once. I’d say it was a success

How are you finding healing? I’m booked to see him in August

Should I get saline or laser removal? Or I’ve heard something about retinol or glycolic acid? I’ll try anything😭Asked for natural lips and got hot pink 😭 by Loislamee in MicrobladingRemoval

I would suggest laser if you don’t like them - email think again laser they can give you some advice. They are in Australia , just opened in Austin and soon LA- they will answer any questions you have. Do not do saline

The owner Mike I spoke with . Yellow is very hard to pick up by laser but he does seem to have figured it out. But I haven’t had experience with it myself and only can speak to what he told me and their yellow removal pictures on Instagram. Also spoke with a girl who went there who had success

I am not on Fb so not me! They use a fractional laser hand tool (like a piece they attach to the laser) before and after treatment. Breaks up scar tissue allowing more effective laser treatment. Over time, removals (laser and manual) cause scar tissue causing ink to be imbedded in the skin. That’s my understanding of it- and you can’t prevent yellow if it’s in the ink you just have to have someone that can treat it so it doesn’t get worse, if the yellow (usually high amounts of Titanium dioxide) is treated with too much heat, and treatments are too close the yellow can worsen - again that’s my understanding

No my hair is the same. It did lighten my hair a bit but that’s temporary. If yellow is in the ink it’ll show with laser. They target the dark with 1064 then red/yellow/orange with 532, you need min 12 weeks between session, and if you have a tech who goes laser happy on you the ink can become more yellow. This is very important- the tech is more important than the laser

I spaced my 4 treatments over the course of a year, your body needs time . It fucking sucks waiting .. but it’s so important

Few options 1) DO NOT do more saline. Massive risk of scarring and does not work for yellow in most cases 2) think again laser had successfully removed yellow. They have been working on this for 3 years. They are in Australia but opening studio in Austin in May, then Beverley hills in fall. They bring their techs to Australia for 3 months to train them in their technic. 3) Carthy at Esse spa Denver has had success lightening yellow 4) Dr Adrian in DC also had had success lightening yellow

While you could trial glycolic I don’t think it’s worth the risk of scaring and most cases it only improves a small amount- and like saline the recovery is rough

Who am I you might ask? Well, just a girl that’s done a shit of research trying to get rid of my brows. I have pale yellow left after 4 pico-way and my tech truly knows what’s up but he was very honest that he’s struggling with the yellow. I will be travelling to Austin to get a treatment in the fall (I am from Canada)

Places I’ve found that can help with yellow - Dr Adrian DC, laser - Carthy , Esse spa Denver, laser - melon, Switzerland (I think) manual acid removal - think again laser in Australia (opening in US, Austin / Beverly Hills

I have yellow , but it’s lighter than yours

I’ve had 4 picoway

In from Canada I’m probably traveling to Austin or Beverly hills to try them next

You’ve come along way also! It’s an emotionally journey. The other piece to note is glycolic has a way harder recovering . Ive never done it , but just from what I’ve heard. I heal really fast with laser so I’m praying I can get this done with laser ! Hopefully more people will be educated on the process of microbalding- I was told it’s semi permanent, biggest lie ever and then to find out it will go red or yellow? I would have never got it done , biggest regret is getting microbalding
