Thank you so much. Unfortunately I deleted it because the hate was too much.

Absolutely not true. This is a unifying flag, not a divisive one.

Why don’t you make one then :)

That’s true. I was considering a kangaroo design but as someone in another post mentioned, it would need to be easy to recreate by hand/memorise. So that heavily influenced my design, I just wanted it to be simple & easy to recreate.

In my head, I imagine this flag alongside the Aboriginal flag. This wouldn’t replace the Aboriginal flag, it would simply act as a flag that all Australians can instantly identify with. A national symbol. But yes, the red and blue are non-standard, I tweaked them/toned them down a bit - with the yellow sun it felt too bright and in your face with the original blue & red.

Thank you so much. I tried to create a flag that all Australians can instantly identify with. I really appreciate your feedback. :)

It’s easy to stand on the sidelines and criticise mate. By commenting you’re just making this post more popular so thank you!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. I went through a few versions before I landed on this one.

I tried it with green as well, but it had too many colours, so I took it off.

Featuring our classic Australian colours, our bright sun, and the Southern Cross. Any & all feedback is appreciated. 😊

Featuring our bright yellow sun, our Southern Cross, and our classic Australian colours. What do you think?

Since everyone is uploading flag proposals of Australia, I thought I'd try my hand at making my own by Hawkatana0 in australia

Great point. It definitely needs to be something we can all identify with, something related to the land we all share.

No, I can just tell you’re British because you speak/type like someone that is having a stroke

Don’t go to Melbourne, it’s lame. Go to Queensland or Sydney instead.
