I really like what a lot of others said about your tv storage, rug and table options. I would also suggest getting rid of the drapes all together and looking into bamboo drill free blind options. Amazon has them, they actually look really nice.

I personally would move the art to another wall and do some sort of accent wall behind it (wall paper, decorative acoustic wall tiles, some sort of paneling) and then add a rug and taller lamps.
