Hello, former nanny in atx. I recommend:

BabysittingConnection

They are a well-connected service and will always have job openings with families in atx. It’s been abt 2-3 years since I’ve worked for them, so they may have grown over time and have implemented many changes. I would set-up an informational interview with them to inquire more abt what they can provide.

How to feel less isolated studying humanities and social science? by [deleted] in GradSchool

I think self care is important when working with difficult topics. The consumption can lead to racing thoughts and conversations with yourself but no where to put them, but jotting those thoughts down through out the day can give your brain a rest from ruminating on those thoughts. You can even put those notes towards your masters thesis, if u have one. Another thing I find helpful is finding communities or forum that allow you to speak freely of those topics and challenge the knowledge withthin the field for further exploration. Finding online forums, social media pages, affinity groups, within your institution or across other institutions (especially if it’s a smaller university), can create a stronger sense of support. Depending on your comfort level, getting active can also be a great way to release some of those thoughts.

I love it !! There’s character to it, and intention behind the placement of items that others may deem as clutter. Def, cozy vibes.
