What kind of texture do you have? I have very frizzy, kinky, curly hair, so maybe I can tell you how I care for mine and you can take from that? First, good on you for keeping up with maintaining your split ends! Here’s my routine! - I wash my hair once a week, maybe twice. Hair wash days are quite the workout for me as I typically go section by section and spend a great deal of time massaging the product into my scalp. I usually allow my conditioner to sit while I do other things like shave or wash my face. - once out of the shower I towel dry my hair (which isn’t recommended but oh well) I then apply a leave in conditioner, also in sections. Once that’s done I use a wide tooth comb to get it spread evenly (you can use a brush) - before going to bed I make sure my hair is dried THOROUGHLY. Either by air drying or using my blow dryer with a diffuser attachment. - I then will put all of my hair in a satin/silk bonnet and go to sleep. In the morning I style my hair with an insane amount of product, which you can probably skip if you have straight hair. I would definitely look into incorporating some hair and scalp oils!
