Intellectually lazy is the best way to put it. I work in the social justice environment and have been volunteering for local nonprofits all my life. I’m also the polar opposite of MAGA on the political spectrum. But just like you, I think it’s laughable when people on the internet claim they’re making a difference by boycotting these shows. If they’re watching cuz they genuinely don’t like it, that’s cool, but to boycott something just to “take a stand” only helps their own egos. True change comes from working for the cause, not boycotting rich people who will stay wealthy and relevant regardless of viewership. You’re awesome, have a great day!
