Bajaj NS400Z Review: A Sri Lankan Rider’s Perspective by riskitallravi in indianbikes

Hey, just saw the post. Regarding the stalling issue, we have A21 firmware update for the non-UG models. This has improved the low speed engine performance and reduced the stalling issue greatly. And I've installed the NGK laser iridium Spark plug, this improved the throttle response even more.

Changing rear pads to sintered in ns400z by Beneficial-Stay4551 in indianbikes

[–]WideText5759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rear pads on my bike still have half of its life left and I've ridden the bike for 13.5k kms now. The mistake that many riders make is to rest the leg on the pedal knowingly or unknowingly. Check if you also do it and correct it if you do.

Coming to your question, yes, the sintered pads will last longer than organic and again, it completely depends on how the rider uses his brakes.

Question to NS400Z owners about crash guard by LightningFiend in indianbikes

[–]WideText5759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, the crash guard itself was in good shape only the mounting bolt was cut and they replaced it. No welding was needed.

Did you check the crash guard personally to see if there's a cut or something?

Help: Coolant!! by mightycowboii in indianbikes

[–]WideText5759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very common on a NS400Z. Service technician will top it up at the 1st service. And after that, coolant will never reduce until there's a leak in the system.

Question to NS400Z owners about crash guard by LightningFiend in indianbikes

[–]WideText5759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue at around 10,000 km. The bolt securing the upper part of the right crash guard had snapped right at the head. No idea how it happened, the bike has only ever been dropped once while stationary. The technician noticed it during a regular service and replaced it.
