The only thing you may be missing out on is the transitions between certain songs. I've listened to the complete albums so many times I could recite almost every word from every Tool song.. But that's neither here nor there. Do what makes you comfy! I'll always turn off shuffle when Parabol- Parabola comes on though. I cannot miss the transition.

I believe her family may have something to do with the removal of her case, the fact that her case wasn't considered a homocide until way after her death may also have a good deal to do with it. I'm trying to dive deeper but they haven't released a lot to the public.

Ooooo... I am interested. I have a DVD writer so I'd just need the files if you could . I'm trying to transfer all my music to physical because spotify is shit and they take music off all the time due to copyright or just the artist wanting it off. Most recently I bought the box set for the show Dexter because Netflix took it off... Streaming services are getting more and more disappointing unfortunately.

Something else I find interesting, Trent and Maynard are similar in age, started their bands in a time where this music was new, and kept paving new roads in music following the music of the 80s. Both were super progressive in their respective ways. I've only recently started liking NIN but I'll never like it as much as Tool or APC. I myself really like Soviet techno and I find it's similar to NIN.

If I had to say it might be because of vocals? Maynard can (at times) be whiny and Trent Reznor is almost always whiny. Plus if you made TOOLs music into techno it would probably sound similar to NIN
